Analisis Tahapan Plot Cerita dan Klasifikasi Emosi Tokoh Utama dalam Drama "Doona!" (???!)

Penelitian ini membahas tentang tahapan plot cerita dan klasifikasi emosi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tahapan plot cerita dan mendeskripsikan klasifikasi emosi tokoh utama dalam drama Korea yang berjudul “Doona!” (???!). Metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tahapan plot berdasarkan berbagai peristiwa yang terjadi menurut teori tahapan plot S. Tasrif (1981) dan untuk mengidentifikasi emosi yang muncul pada tokoh menurut teori klasifikasi emosi David Krech (1969).

Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan plot cerita dalam drama “Doona!” (???!) digambarkan secara koheren dan kronologis. Setiap tahapan memuat peristiwa yang terjadi sesuai dengan urutan waktu. Peristiwa pada tahap penyesuaian meliputi: (a) pengenalan tokoh utama; (b) kepindahan tokoh utama laki-laki ke Seoul; (c) kecurigaan tokoh utama perempuan terhadap tokoh utama laki-laki; (d) pertolongan tokoh utama laki-laki kepada tokoh utama perempuan; (e) tokoh utama perempuan terus mengusik tokoh utama laki-laki. Pada tahap pemunculan konflik, peristiwa yang terjadi adalah: (a) kedekatan kedua tokoh utama; (b) kedekatan tokoh utama laki-laki dan teman sekolahnya; (c) tokoh utama perempuan diikuti penguntit; (d) tokoh utama perempuan tinggal bersama teman sekolah tokoh utama laki-laki. Peristiwa pada tahap peningkatan konflik meliputi: (a) kedua tokoh utama mulai saling mencintai; (b) pernyataan cinta teman sekolah tokoh utama laki-laki; (c) pertemuan tokoh utama perempuan dan mantan manajernya. Peristiwa pada tahap klimaks meliputi: (a) tokoh utama perempuan mendapat gugatan terkait pelanggaran kontrak; (b) tokoh utama perempuan kembali ke dunia hiburan; (c) tokoh utama perempuan meninggalkan tokoh utama laki-laki. Pada tahap penyelesaian meliputi dua peristiwa, yaitu hubungan kedua tokoh utama berakhir dan kedua tokoh utama kembali ke kehidupan semula. Selain itu, hasil analisis klasifikasi emosi menunjukkan bahwa peristiwa yang terjadi dalam setiap tahapan plot turut memengaruhi emosi yang dialami tokoh. Emosi yang ditemukan antara lain emosi senang, marah, takut, sedih, sakit, jijik, kenikmatan, sukses dan gagal, rasa bangga, rasa bersalah dan menyesal, benci, dan cinta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat diketahui juga bahwa emosi tidak hanya dapat diidentifikasi secara verbal, melainkan juga dapat diidentifikasi secara nonverbal.

This research discusses the stages of the story plot and the classification of emotions. The purpose of this study is to identify the stages of the story plot and describe the classification of emotions of the main characters in the Korean drama entitled “Doona!” (???!). For this purpose, Tasrif's (1981) plot stages theory is used to identify plot stages based on various events that occur and David Krech's (1969) emotion classification theory to identify emotions that appear in characters using qualitative methods with descriptive analysis.

The results of the research analysis show that the plot stages in the drama “Doona!” (???!) are described coherently and chronologically. Each stage contains events that occur in accordance with the time sequence. Events in the situation stage include: (a) introduction of the main characters; (b) the male main character's move to Seoul; (c) the female main character's suspicion of the male main character; (d) the male main character's help to the female main character; (e) the female main character continues to bother the male main character. In the generating circumstances stage, the events that occur are: (a) the closeness of the two main characters; (b) the closeness of the male main character and his high school friend; (c) the female main character is followed by a stalker; (d) the female main character lives with male character’s high school friend. Events in the rising action stage include: (a) the two main characters begin to love each other; (b) the declaration of love by the male character’s high school friend; (c) the female main character meets her former manager. Events in the climax stage include: (a) the female main character gets a lawsuit related to breach of contract; (b) the female main character returns to the entertainment industry; (c) the female main character leaves the male main character. The denouement stage includes two events, namely the relationship between the two main characters ends and the two main characters return to their previous lives. In addition, the results of the emotion classification show that the events that occur in each stage of the plot also affect the emotions experienced by the characters. The emotions found include the emotions of joy, anger, fear, sadness, pain, disgust, delight, success and failure, pride, guilt and remorse, hate, and love. Based on the results of the analysis, it can also be seen that emotions can not only be identified verbally, but can also be identified nonverbally.
