Citra Perempuan Tokoh Ga-ryung dalam Drama Korea “??: ??? ?? ??” (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People)

Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis citra perempuan yang tercermin oleh karakter Ga-ryung dalam drama Korea "??: ??? ?? ??" (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People), yang berlatarkan masa pemerintahan Yeonsangun, Raja ke-10 Dinasti Joseon. Drama ini dipilih sebagai objek penelitian karena tokoh Ga-ryung memperlihatkan citra perempuan yang cukup dominan di dalam drama. Untuk menganalisis citra tokoh Ga-ryung, penelitian ini menggunakan teori kritik sastra feminis Soenarjati Djajanegara (2000). Data dikumpulkan melalui proses unduh, simak, dan catat dialog dari adegan yang berkaitan dengan citra perempuan tokoh Ga-ryung dalam drama tersebut. Selanjutnya, data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. 

Dari penelitian ini, tokoh Ga-ryung menunjukkan citra perempuan yang terbagi menjadi dua, yakni citra diri dan citra sosial. Citra perempuan tersebut direpresentasikan oleh tokoh Ga-ryung sebagai pelayan dan istri, yaitu citra dirinya dalam aspek fisik, citra dirinya dalam aspek psikis, serta citra sosialnya dalam keluarga dan lingkungan sekitar. Citra dalam aspek fisik mencakup dirinya sebagai perempuan mungil, cantik, dan kuat. Dalam aspek psikis menggambarkan dirinya yang pemberani, pintar, bebas melakukan apapun, serta perubahannya menjadi perempuan yang tenang setelah menikah. Citra sosialnya meliputi perannya sebagai anak perempuan pertama, seorang pelayan, dan istri. Ga-ryung rela berkorban demi keluarganya, mengurus kegiatan domestik, dan membantu tugas suaminya. Dalam lingkungan sekitar, Ga-ryung mampu menunjukkan dirinya yang mudah beradaptasi.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the women image reflected by Ga-ryung's character in the Korean drama "??: ??? ?? ??" (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People), which is set during the reign of Yeonsangun, the 10th King of the Joseon Dynasty. This drama was chosen as the object of research because Ga-ryung's character shows a fairly dominant women image in the drama.To analyze the image of Ga-ryung in this research using the theory of feminist literary criticism Soenarjati Djajanegara (2000). Data was collected through the process of downloading, watching, and taking notes of dialogues from scenes related to the women image of Ga-ryung's character in the drama. Then the data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods.

The results indicate that women image of Ga-ryung was divided into two, namely self-image and social image. The image of the woman is represented by Ga-ryung's character as a servant and wife, namely her self-image in the physical aspect, her self-image in the psychic aspect, and her social image in the family and the surrounding environment. The image in the physical aspect includes her as a petite,beautiful, and strong woman. In the psychic aspect, she describes herself as a brave, smart, free to do anything, and changes into a calm adult woman after marriage. Her social image includes her roles as the first daughter, a servant, and a wife. Ga-ryung is willing to sacrifice for the sake of her family, take care of domestic activities, and help with her husband's duties. In the surrounding environment, Ga-ryung is able to show herself adaptable.
