Kritik Terhadap Kolektivisme Pada Lirik Lagu Ramune no Nomikata Karya Yasushi Akimoto: Kajian Semiotika Roland Barthes

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna denotasi dan konotasi yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu Ramune no Nomikata, serta mitos-mitos kolektivisme yang dikritik melalui lirik lagu tersebut menurut perspektif semiotika Roland Barthes.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer berupa lirik lagu Ramune no Nomikata dan sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari artikel jurnal dan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Analisis data diawali dengan membagi lirik lagu menjadi bait-bait. Setiap bait disusun dalam tabel yang memuat teks Jepang, romaji, dan terjemahan. Selanjutnya, lirik lagu tersebut dicermati untuk mendapatkan makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Kemudian, makna-makna yang sudah teridentifikasi akan disajikan secara deskriptif dengan tabel dan narasi, disertai contoh kutipan lirik sebagai rujukan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan makna mitos kolektivisme yang dikritik meliputi anggapan bahwa cuti atau absen hanya dapat dibenarkan untuk diambil ketika kondisi darurat (contoh: sakit fisik), mitos ketangguhan diri, dan mitos kerja keras. Melalui lagu ini, Yasushi Akimoto dan SKE48 ingin memberikan gagasan alternatif: bahwa seharusnya hak cuti dipahami sebagai fasilitas preventif sebelum hal buruk terlanjur terjadi; bahwa pengakuan terhadap perasaan atau emosi pribadi diperlukan agar harmoni sosial yang sejati terbangun; dan bahwa beristirahat merupakan hak asasi yang inheren dalam kehidupan kolektif.

This study aims to determine the denotative and connotative meanings contained in the lyrics of the song Ramune no Nomikata, as well as the myths of collectivism critiqued through the lyrics of the song, from the perspective of Roland Barthes’ semiotics.

The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with primary data sources consisting of the lyrics of the song Ramune no Nomikata and secondary data sources obtained from journal articles and prior studies. Data analysis begins by segmenting the lyrics into stanzas. Each stanza is organized in a table presenting the Japanese text, romaji, and an Indonesian translation. Subsequently, the song lyrics are examined to identify their denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings. Finally, these meanings are presented descriptively in tables and narrative form, accompanied by exemplary lyric excerpts as references.

The findings indicate that the meanings of collectivism myths under critique include the assumption that taking leave or being absent can only be justified in cases of emergency situations (for example, physical illness), the myth of self-reliance, and the myth of hard work. Through this song, Yasushi Akimoto and SKE48 advance a set of alternative propositions: that the right to take leave ought to be conseptualized as a preventive intervention prior to the emergence of harm; that the acknowledgment of personal feelings (or emotions) is necessary for cultivating auhentic forms of social harmony; and that rest constitutes an inherently humane entitlement within collective life.
