KLASIFIKASI EMOSI TOKOH UTAMA NOVEL DA`U AL-ASAD KARYA AHMED KHALED TAWFIK: ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan klasifikasi emosi tokoh utama novel Da`u al-Asad karya Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural untuk analisis tokoh utama dan penokohan dan teori psikologi sastra dengan konsep klasifikasi emosi untuk analisis lebih lanjut aspek psikis tokoh utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis struktural dan metode analisis psikologi sastra.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua tokoh utama dalam novel Da`u al-Asad karya Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, yaitu ‘Ala` dan Rushkoff. Aspek fisik ‘Ala` menunjukkan bahwa ia adalah pria berusia 30-40 tahun dari Mesir, sedangkan Rushkoff adalah pria berusia 50-60 tahun dari Rusia. Aspek sosial menunjukkan perbedaan masa tugas sebagai dokter dengan ‘Ala` sebagai pemula dan Rushkoff sebagai seorang profesor di koloni. Adapun aspek psikis, ‘Ala` sangat energik, sebaliknya Rushkoff cenderung lethargic.

Analisis psikis lebih lanjut dengan konsep klasifikasi emosi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 40 data emosi yang dialami oleh tokoh utama dengan klasifikasi 16 emosi dasar, 13 emosi yang bersinggungan dengan penilaian diri, 4 emosi yang bersinggungan dengan stimulasi sensorik, dan 7 emosi yang bersinggungan dengan orang lain. Emosi yang hanya dialami oleh ‘Ala` adalah sukses, bersalah, jijik, dan benci, sedangkan emosi yang dialami oleh Rushkoff emosi sedih, gagal, menyesal, dan sakit. Keduanya mengalami emosi kegembiraan, kemarahan, ketakutan, bangga, rasa puas, dan cinta.

This research aims to reveal the emotional classification of the main characters in the novel Da`u al-Asad by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. The theories employed in this research are the structural theory for main character analysis and characterization, along with the psychological literature theory with the concept of emotional classification for further analysis of the main characters' psychological aspects. The methods used in this research are the structural analysis method and the psychological literature analysis method.

The research findings indicate that there are two main characters in the novel Da`u al-Asad by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, namely ‘Ala` and Rushkoff. ‘Al?`'s physical aspect indicates that he is a man aged 30–40 from Egypt, while Rushkoff is a man aged 50–60 from Russia. The social aspect shows the difference in their career stages as doctors, with ‘Ala` being a novice and Rushkoff being a professor in a colony. As for the psychological aspect, ‘Ala` is highly energetic, whereas Rushkoff tends to be lethargic.

Further psychological analysis using the concept of emotional classification reveals that there are 40 emotional data points experienced by the main characters, with a classification of 16 primary emotions, 13 emotions pertaining to self-appraisal, 4 emotions pertaining to sensory stimulation, and 7 emotions pertaining to other people. Emotions exclusively experienced by ‘Ala` include success, guilt, disgust, and hate, while those experienced by Rushkoff include grief, failure, remorse, and pain. Both of them experience emotions of joy, anger, fear, pride, delight, and love.
