Aransemen Lagu "Lir-Ilir" Untuk Orkestra Dan Solo Biola Oleh Joko Suprayitno: Proses, Negosiasi Dan Wujud Estetik

Tesis ini meneliti tiga aspek mengenai (1) proses aransemen musik Joko Suprayitno pada lagu “Lir-Ilir” untuk solo biola Iskandar Widjaja, (2) negosiasi antara arranger, kondakter dan solis, serta (3) analisa terkait wujud estetik aransemen lagu “Lir-Ilir yang telah diaransemen oleh Joko Suprayitno. Dengan berdasarkan pada perspektif estetika musiknya Roger Scrutton, penelitian ini memapar proses penciptaan tentang gaya aransemen lagu “Lir-Ilir” meliputi ide pokok dan pengembangan style yang dilakukan oleh Joko Suprayitno. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ide pokok yang dituangkan Joko Suprayitno selaku arranger adalah penuangan gaya musik klasik Barat ke dalam lagu daerah, dengan tetap memperhatikan unsur-unsur Jawa yang terkandung dalam lagu “Lir-Ilir”. Kemudian pada proses pertunjukan terjadi negosiasi antara solis dan kondakter perihal dinamika dan tempo yang dimainkan dalam aransmen lagu “Lir-Ilir”. Negosiasi ini dianggap wajar oleh Joko, selama masih didalam konteks nada dan ritme yang sudah ditulis Joko. Sebagian besar wujud aransemen lagu “Lir-Ilir” oleh Joko Suprayitno telah memenuhi unsur-unsur estetika yang dikemukakan oleh Scruton, yakni mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisi agar tidak melenceng dengan lagu asli. Namun demikian terdapat satu unsur yang berbeda, yakni pada persepsi mengenai imajinasi. Imajinasi yang terlintas dalam benak Joko dalam aransemennya dapat dilihat dari sisi rasionalitas yang dimiliki, sedangkan menurut Scruton imajinasi bukanlah sebagai perwujudan lirik lagu maupun bayangan sebuah peristiwa atau kejadian, melainkan penggambaran nuansa yang terjadi saat mencipta atau bermain musik dalam benak seseorang.

This thesis examines three aspects regarding (1) Joko Suprayitno's musical arrangement process for the song "Lir-Ilir" for solo violin by Iskandar Widjaja, (2) negotiations between the arranger, conductor and soloists, and (3) analysis regarding the aesthetic form of the arrangement for the song "Lir -Ilir which has been arranged by Joko Suprayitno. Based on Roger Scrutton's musical aesthetic perspective, this research describes the creation process of the arrangement style of the song "Lir-Ilir" including the main ideas and style development carried out by Joko Suprayitno. The results of this research show that the main idea outlined by Joko Suprayitno as the arranger was to incorporate Western classical music styles into regional songs, while still paying attention to the Javanese elements contained in the song "Lir-Ilir". Then, during the performance process, negotiations took place between the soloist and conductor regarding the dynamics and tempo played in the arrangement of the song "Lir-Ilir". Joko considered this negotiation reasonable, as long as it was still in the context of the tone and rhythm that Joko had written. Most of the arrangements for the song "Lir-Ilir" by Joko Suprayitno fulfill the aesthetic elements proposed by Scruton, namely maintaining traditional values so as not to deviate from the original song. However, there is one different element, namely the perception of imagination. The imagination that comes to Joko's mind in his arrangements can be seen in terms of his rationality, whereas according to Scruton, imagination is not an activator of song lyrics or images of events or events, but rather describes the nuances that occur when creating or playing music in one's mind.
