Analisis Makna Afektif Dalam Dialog Film "Demain, Tout Commence"

Makna afektif merupakan makna yang merefleksikan perasaan seseorang termasuk sikapnya baik terhadap mitra tutur maupun sesuatu yang dibicarakan. Penelitian ini mengkaji perihal makna afektif dan hubungan keakraban dengan pemilihan kata (diksi) yang terkandung dalam dialog film Demain, Tout Commence. Makna afektif ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Goffrey Leech (1985) dan klasifikasi emosi dari David Krech (1974). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna afektif yang ingin disampaikan seseorang akibat dari jalinan keharmonisan orang tersebut dengan mitra tuturnya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh nilai rasa/emosi dalam pemilihan kata (diksi). Dengan kata lain, semakin akrab jalinan yang dibangun, maka diksi yang digunakan memiliki makna positif, pun sebaliknya.

Affective meaning is a form of reflection of a person's feelings, including their attitude towards their speaking partner or the content of the conversation. This study examines the affective meaning and implications between relationship and choice of words (diction) found in the film Demain, Tout Commence dialogue. This study is analyzed using the theory of Goffrey Leech (1985) and the theory of David Krech of emotion classifications (1974). The results of this study indicates that the affective meaning that someone wants to convey depends on the relationship between that person and their conversation partner. This is due to a person's emotions expressed in the choice of words. In other words, the closer the relationship, the more positive the diction used and vice versa.
