PERAN STEWARD DALAM MEMBANTU KELANCARAN OPERASIONAL FOOD AND BEVERAGE DEPARTMENT DI HOTEL GRAND ASTON YOGYAKARTA

2015 | Tugas Akhir | D3 KEPARIWISATAAN SVHotel terdiri dari berbagai macam department untuk menjalankan operasionalnya, kemudian departemen itu dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian lagi, steward adalah salah satunya, yang berada dibawah departemen Food and Beverage Departemen (Product). Steward yaitu jabatan seseorang yang tugasnya mengurus alat-alat yang ada di kitchen, bar, restauran dan banquet pada suatu hotel termasuk untuk kebersihan kitchen. Sedangkan stewarding yaitu aktifitas steward meliputi washing, cleaning & polishing, preparation (set up & clear up), purchase (pengadaan/pembelian dan pendistribusian), store requestion, storing and inventory dan yang terakhir yaitu maintenance seluruh peralatan. Kegiatan tersebut selalu berkaitan erat dengan departemen lain dihotel. Jadi, steward adalah salahsatu bagian dalam Food and Beverage departement khususnya Food and Beverage Product yang memiliki peranan penting dalam menjalin hubungan kerjasama dengan departemen lainnya di dalam hotel.
Hotel consists of various departments to run its operations, then the department divided into sections again, steward is one of them, which is under the department of Food and Beverage Department especialy Food and Beverage Product. Steward is a title for someone whoes job is preparing equipment a kitchen, bar, restaurant and banquet of a hotel including kitchen cleanleness. Stewarding is steward activity such as washing, cleaning & polishing, preparation (set up & clear up), purchase, store requestion, storingand inventory and the last is to maintain all the kitchen equipment. All activities have a strong relatioship with other departements in the hotel. Therefore steward is a part in Food and Beverage department especialy in Food and Beverage Product which has important role to keep up the team work in other departments at the hotel.
