Kota Cirebon merupakan salah satu kota yang berada di Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Tepatnya Kota Cirebon berada di pesisir utara Pulau Jawa atau sering kita sebut dengan jalur pantura (pantai utara). Ketersediaan dan distribusi informasi menjadi kunci utama sebagai referensi bagi publik. Penyajian informasi wisata di Kota Cirebon berdasarkan informasi dari Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata untuk mengenalkan pariwisata masih menggunakan brosur, event dan website. Di era kemajuan sistem informasi dan teknologi ini, smartphone menjadi sangat populer karena dapat mendukung produktivitas. Salah satunya adalah smartphone dengan dukungan sistem operasi Android. Android adalah sebuah sistem operasi open source yang populer pada masa kini. Menurut CEO Google Sundar Pichai mengatakan bahwa saat ini ada lebih dari 1.4 milyar perangkat Android aktif di seluruh dunia. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah sistem panduan wisata berbasis android. Dengan menggunakan perangkat mobile ini akan mempermudah wisatawan untuk melihat informasi dan menjangkau lokasi wisata di Kota Cirebon. Aplikasi telah dibangun dan diuji menggunakan pengujian fungsional dan kuesioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi telah berhasil dibangun dan cukup membantu pengguna dalam proses penyajian informasi dalam bentuk gadget Android. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur informasi wisata, kuliner, hotel, transportasi, galeri dan peta.

Cirebon city is a city located in the province of West Java, Indonesia. Precisely Cirebon is located on the north coast of Java or often called the northern coastal road (north coast). Availability and distribution of information is the key factor as a reference for the public. Presentation of travel information on the city of Cirebon based on information from the department of culture and tourism youth sports to introduce tourism still use brochures, events and websites. In the era of information systems and technology progress, smartphones are becoming very popular because it can support productivity. One is a smartphone with Android operating system support. Android is an open source operating system that is popular today. According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that there are currently more than 1.4 billion andoid devices active worldwide. Therefore, in this study built an android based tour guide system. By using this mobile device, it will be easier for tourists to see the information and reach the tourist sites in the city of Cirebon. App has been built and tested using functional tests and questionnaires. The results indicate that the application has been successfully constructed and reasonably assist users in the process of presenting information in the form of android gadgets. This application has features travel information, culinary, hotel, transportation, galleries and maps.
