Eco-tourist resort merupakan suatu resort yang mewadahi turis yang memiliki keinginan untuk menjaga maupun membantu konservasi alam maupun budaya melalui pengalaman dengan keterlibatan langsung bersama masyarakat setempat. Pendekatan Eco-design sendiri merupakan suatu pendekatan untuk merancang produk maupun bangunan dengan pertimbangan khusus untuk dampak lingkungan dari produk selama siklus sepanjang masa pakainya. Melaui tinjauan dan studi kasus mengenai eco-tourist dan eco-design resort perancangan resort akan menerapkan konsep yang mewadahi kebutuhan eco-tourist yang berwisata di Lombok barat dan eco-design sesuai dengan kondisi alam dan budaya di Lombok Barat. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perancangan merupakan resort yang dapat memberi dampak positif terhadap alam, budaya, maupun pengembangan masyarakat di Lombok Barat. Perancangan Eco-Tourist Resort Dengan Pendekatan Eco-Design Di Sekotong, Lombok Barat merupakan konsep perancangan resort yang mewadahi eco-tourist dan menerapkan prisip eco-design dalam penyesuaian kondisi Lombok Barat dengan tujuan memberi dampak positif bagi Lombok Barat sendiri.

Eco-tourist resort is a resort that accommodates tourists who have a desire to preserve and foster the conservation of nature and culture through a shared experience with direct involvement with local community. Eco-design approach itself is an approach to design and build building with consideration to the environmental impact of a building cycle along its useful life. Through reviews and case studies on eco-tourist resort and eco-design will apply the concept of resort design that accommodates the needs of eco-tourist who traveled in western Lombok and eco-design in accordance with the conditions of nature and culture in West Lombok. The results of the design is a resort that can give positive impacts on nature, culture, and community development in West Lombok. Designing Eco-Tourist Resort With Eco-Design Approach In Sekotong, West Lombok resort is a design concept that embodies the eco-tourist and applying the principle of eco-design in the adjustment of the West Lombok conditions in order to provide a positive impact for the West Lombok itself.
