Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Tokoh Utama dalam Teks Drama Lu'batu al-Maut Karya Taufiq al-Hakim: Analisis Psikologi Sastra Abraham Maslow

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika pemenuhan kebutuhan pada tokoh utama dalam teks drama Lu'batu al-Maut karya Taufiq al-Hakim. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori struktural dan teori psikologi sastra Abraham Maslow. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode penelitian, yaitu metode analisis struktural dan metode analisis psikologi sastra. Melalui analisis struktural diketahui bahwa tokoh utama dalam drama Lu'batu al-Maut karya Taufiq Al-Hakim adalah al-Muarrikh, seorang profesor salah satu universitas dan penulis yang berubah menjadi pesimis sejak ditinggal mati anak dan istrinya, serta divonis bahwa hidupnya tinggal beberapa bulan lagi. Teks drama tersebut menggunakan alur maju atau alur lurus. Analisis psikologi sastra dengan memanfaatkan teori psikologi kepribadian tentang pemenuhan kebutuhan Abraham Maslow yang didasarkan pada hasil penelitian struktural didapatkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut. Pertama, apabila seseorang telah memenuhi semua pemenuhan kebutuhan, maka ketika ia kehilangan beberapa tahapan, ia masih relatif mudah untuk meraihnya kembali. Kedua, seseorang yang telah divonis bahwa hidupnya tidak lama lagi, ia pun tidak termotivasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang telang hilang atau kosong tersebut. Ketiga, seseorang yang telah mencapai titik tertinggi, dapat terguncang secara psikologis ketika kehilangan beberapa kebutuhan yang telah diraihnya. This research aims to describe the dynamics of hierarchy of needs of the main character in a drama Lu'batu al-Maut by Taufiq al-Hakim. The structural theory and the psychology of literature theory of Abraham Maslow is applied in this research and adopts two methods, they are structural analysis and psychological of literature. Through structural analysis known that the main character in the drama Lu'batu al-Maut by Taufiq al-Hakim is al-Mu'arrikh. He is a professor at a university and also an author who turn out to be pessimist since bereaved son and his wife, and also he got verdict that his life wouldn't be long anymore. The plot of this drama is using the advanced groove or the chronological flow. The analysis of the psychology of literature by using the theory of the psychological personality about hierarchy of needs of Abraham Maslow which based on the results of structural obtained several things as follows. First, if someone has fulfill all of hierarchy of needs, he will be easier to get those all again when he lose some of the hierarchy. Second, the one who got verdict that his/her life would not be stay long anymore wouldn't be motivated to fulfill these lose needs or will be empty. Third, the one who has achieved the highest peak can be shaken psychologically when he/she loses some of needs that he got. Key words: drama, Lu'batu al-Maut, the needs fulfillment
