ANTI HERO DALAM NOVEL L'ETRANGER KARYA ALBERT CAMUS DAN KAFKA SUR LE RIVAGE KARYA HARUKI MURAKAMI PENDEKATAN SASTRA BANDING

Fenomena hadirnya tokoh anti hero dalam karya sastra tidak terlepas dari keterpengaruhan kehidupan sekitar penulis terhadap lingkungannya. Kehadiran tokoh anti hero ditemukan di tempat maupun jaman yang berbeda, hal tersebut serupa dengan apa yang ditemukan dalam novel L'etranger karya Albert Camus sebagai representasi keadaan eropa pada abad 20 serta Kafka sur le Rivage karya Haruki Murakami yang merepresentasikan Asia di abad 21. Kedua karya tersebut menceritakan perjalanan tokoh anti hero yang sarat akan fenomena kebebasan di dalamnya. Maka dari itu teori The Adventure of Hero oleh Joseph Campbell digunakan untuk membedah perjalanan kedua tokoh anti hero tersebut. Tahap �tahap yang akan digunakan dalam menganalisis perjalanan tersebut ialah Departure, Initiation serta Return. Ketiganya berfungsi untuk memperlihatkan inti dari perjalanan sehingga memperlihatkan sisi kebebasan yang merupakan inti dari pribadi kedua tokoh tersebut. Kebebasan yang merupakan pencetus perjalanan hero tersebut dibahas melalui teori kebebasan oleh Hartzenberger. Penelitian tersebut memperlihatkan hadirnya fenomena serta relasi antara fenomena kebebasan di Asia serta di Eropa, tidak mengenal batasan ruang dan menghadirkan tokoh anti hero yang merupakan representasi dari masyarakat sekitar.

The existence of anti-hero characters in literatures works is affected by the society background that the writer experienced. The anti-hero characters can be found in the various settings and eras, for example as in the l'etranger by Albert Camus as the representation of living in the Europe in the 20th century or in Haruki Murakami Kafka sur le Rivage representing the 21st century Asian. Both of the examples tell the story of the anti-hero characters presenting the value of freedom in it. The theory of The Adventure of Hero by Joseph Campbell was used to analyze the story of the characters. The stages involved in the analysis are Departure, Initiation, and Return. The three stages are used to show the value of the story and display the freedom value which become the characterization of the anti-hero. The theory of freedom by Hartzenberger also helps explaining the freedom background of the anti-hero story. This research explains that this phenomenon in the relation of the freedom value in Asia and Europe could be occurred everywhere and the anti-hero characters are introduced as the representation of the society.
