Replika Potongan Pesawat Dakota VT-CLA di Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala Sebagai Koleksi Masterpiece

Koleksi masterpiece memiliki peran penting di museum. Selain dapat sebagai ikon museum, koleksi masterpiece juga ternyata dapat menjadi penghantar pesan bermuatan politis yang ingin disampaikan museum kepada pengunjung. Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala, memposisikan replika potongan pesawat Dakota VT-CLA sebagai koleksi masterpiecenya. Keberadaan nya, juga didukung oleh storyline yang ditampilkan oleh museum, serta koleksi-koleksi lain yang terkait dengan peristiwa tertembaknya pesawat Dakota VT-CLA ketika akan mendarat di bandara Maguwo pada 29 Juli 1947. Peristiwa tersebut juga merenggut nyawa para tokoh penerbang Angkatan Udara Indonesia antara lain Komodor Muda Udara Agustinus Adisutjipto, Komodor Muda Udara Prof. Dr. Abdurahman Saleh dan Opsir Muda Udara I Adisumarmo Wirjokusumo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keberadaan replika potongan pesawat Dakota VT-CLA sebagai koleksi masterpiece di Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala dan membedah alasan-alasan yang disampaikan baik secara implisit maupun eksplisit. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang meliputi deskripsi koleksi, storyline dan sejarah berdirinya Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala. Visi dan misi untuk membangun rasa nasionalisme yang diusung Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala merupakan bagian yang diamati dari segi penyampaian informasi, serta simbol yang digunakan, terutama melalui koleksi masterpiecenya. Untuk menguraikan alasan-alasan serta tujuan dibalik koleksi masterpiece tersebut, penulis menggunakan sudut pandang postkolonial Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat muatan politis dibalik pemilihan replika potongan pesawat Dakota VT-CLA di Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala. Dalam usaha membentuk rasa nasionalisme, ternyata sadar ataupun tidak praktek kolonialisme tetap menjadi bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Praktek kolonialisme tersebut tidak terlihat secara fisik namun masih berkembang secara ideologi. Penyampaian informasi tersebut tampak pada storyline yang mengarah kepada peristiwa tertembaknya pesawat Dakota VT-CLA dan pengulangan tentang peristiwa tersebut di beberapa ruangan. Narasi dan ilustrasi yang dibuat sedemikian rupa di Museum Pusat TNI AU Dirgantara Mandala tentang peristiwa tertembaknya pesawat Dakota VT-CLA menegaskan pesan bahwa Angkatan Udara memiliki andil dalam merebut kemerdekaan Indonesia.

Masterpiece collection has an important role in the museum. Besides being able as an museum icon, masterpiece also can be a conductor of politically charged messages to be conveyed to the museum visitors. Central Museum of Indonesia Air Force Dirgantara Mandala, positioning replicas of Dakota VT-CLA aircraft pieces as masterpiece collection. Its existence, also supported by a storyline that is displayed by the museum, as well as other collections related to the shooting incident of Dakota VT-CLA aircraft when it will landing at the Maguwo airport on July 29, 1947. The incident has also kill the Indonesian Air Force pilots, Komodor Muda Udara Agustinus Adisutjipto, Komodor Muda Udara Prof. Dr. Abdurahman Saleh and Opsir Muda Udara I Adisumarmo Wirjokusumo. This study aimed to evaluate the presence of replica of Dakota VT-CLA aircraft pieces as a masterpiece collection in the The Air Force Central Museum Dirgantara Mandala and dissect the reasons given either implicitly or explicitly. This study uses qualitative analysis that includes a description of the collection, the storyline and the history of the Air Force Central Museum Dirgantara Mandala. The museum vision and mission to build a sense of nationalism that carried Central Museum of Indonesia Air Force Dirgantara Mandala is part of observed, in terms of information delivery, as well as the symbols used, primarily through the masterpiece collection. The author uses the viewpoint of postcolonialism to dechiper the reason behind the masterpiece. The research showed that there is a political reason in the selection replica of Dakota VT-CLA aircraft as a masterpiece in the Air Force Central Museum Dirgantara Mandala. In an effort to establish a sense of nationalism, it consciously or not, the practice of colonialism remain a part that can not be separated. Colonialism practice is not physically visible but still exist in ideology. The information shown in the storyline that lead to the Dakota VT-CLA shooting accident and the repetition of such events in several rooms. Narrative and illustrations created in such a way about the shooting incident of Dakota VT-CLA aircraft asserted that the Central Museum of Indonesia Air Force Dirgantara Mandala wants to convey the message that the Air Force has a part in the fight for independence of Indonesia.
