KONDISI PSIKOLOGIS TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL AIDUN ILA HAIFA KARYA GASSAN KANAFANI: ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megungkap kondisi psikologis tokoh utama pada novel Aidun Ila Ḥaifa dan bagaimana tokoh tersebut menyelesaikan tekanan psikologis yang dialaminya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori psikoanalisis yang dikembangkan oleh Sigmund Freud. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian psikologi sastra. Tokoh utama dalam novel Aidun Ila Ḥaifa adalah Said. Hasil analisis dengan metode psikologi sastra dapat diketahui bahwa peristiwa-peristiwa yang mengandung tekanan psikologis pada diri Said ada enam, yaitu kondisi psikologis Said ketika menghadapi perang, kondisi psikologis Said setelah perang, kondisi psikologis Said ketika kembali ke Ḥaifa dan keadaan kota Ḥaifa setelah 20 tahun yang lalu, kondisi psikologis Said ketika kembali (berkunjung) ke rumah (al-Ḥalisa), kondisi psikologis Said ketika berbincang dengan pemilik rumah yang baru, kondisi psikologis Said ketika bertemu dengan anaknya. Tekanan-tekanan psikologis yang diteliti, diambil berdasarkan pertentangan antara, id, ego dan superego pada diri Said. Berbagai mekanisme pertahanan yang digunakan Said untuk mengatasi masalah, yaitu represi, pengalihan, reaksi agresi, stereotype, apatis, dan fantasi. This research aims to uncover psychological conditions of the main character in the novel Aidun Ila Ḥaifa and how the main character complete the psychological pressure that he experienced. The theory used in this research is the psychoanalysis theory of Sigmund Freud and the method used is the psychology literature. The main character in the novel Aidun Ila Ḥaifa is Said. Meanwhile, the results of the psychology literature analysis by utilizing the theory of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud is known that there are six events that contain the psychological pressure on Said:Said psychological condition when facing war, Said psychological condition after the war, Said psychological condition when returning to Ḥaifa after 20 years, Said psychological condition when visiting home (al- Ḥalisa), Said psychological condition while talking with the owner of a new house, Said psychological condition when meeting his son. The psychological pressures studied based on events, there is a conflict between the id, ego, and superego in Said. The various mechanism that is used by Said to resolve the problems in his life, are repression, displacement, aggression reaction, stereotype, apathy, and fantasy.
