Komik biografi Endank Soekamti yang berjudul "Long Live My Family" diangkat dari sebuah cerita perjalanan band indie Endank Soekamti dari mereka terbentuk hingga saat ini mereka mempunyai salah satu fanbase yang sangat besar di Indonesia. Peneliti ingin memahami bagaimana proses dari mereka terbentuk hingga bisa dibilang sangat sukses dengan tetap berada di jalur indie. Peneliti juga ingin memahami representasi music indie di dalam proses tersebut. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini ialah bagaimana music indie direpresentasikan dalam Komik Biografi Endank Soekamti melalui proses mereka? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami maknarep resentasi mussi indie di Yogyakarta yang terdapat dalam Komik Biografi Endank Soekamti. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi semiotik. Subjek penelitiannya ialah komik biografi Endank Soekamti "Long Live My Family". Objek penelitiannya ialah potongan-potongan gambar dalam komik tersebut. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan analisis semiotik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah dalam komik biografi Endank Soekamti, komik tersebut merepresentasikan musik indie dengan memaparkan perjalanan karir Endank Soekamti.

Endank Soekamti's biography comic "Long Live My Family" taken from story of indie's band journey, which is Endank Soekamti themselves, from once they formed up until they have a huge fanbase on Indonesia. Researcher want to understand the process of how they formed until they are successful with keep on stayed on indie music track. This research problem formulate is how indie music being representated on biography comic of Endank Soekamti through their process. The goal of this research is to understand the significan of Yogyakarta's indie musician representation that found on Endank Soekamti's biography comic. This research belongs to semiotic studies. The subject of research is Endank Soekamti'ss biography comic "Long Live My Family". The object of research is pieces of pictures on the comic itself. Data analytic on this research using semiotic analytic. And the conclusion of this research is on Endank Soekamti's biography comic, the comic representated indie music by describing Endank Soekamti's career journey.
