KONSEP HASRAT JACQUES LACAN PADA TOKOH HUMBERT DALAM FILM LOLITA (1997) KARYA ADRIAN LYNE

Manusia dikaruniai kebebasan dalam bertindak. Semua tindakan manusia berdasarkan akal dan rasa tidak ubahnya membuat suatu pengalaman yang telah lampau sebagai referensi tindakan manusia berikutnya. Manusia adalah makhluk yang terdiri dari banyak aspek. Salah satu aspek yang paling menentukan adalah hasrat. Hasrat menampakkan dirinya dalam emosi manusia. Berdasarkan hal itu peneliti tertarik untuk memfokuskan penelitian ini dengan judul, Konsep Hasrat Jacques Lacan Pada Tokoh Humbert Dalam Film Lolita (1997) Karya Adrian Lyne. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menguraikan hasrat yang mendorong tokoh Humbert sehingga menjadi seorang pedofil. Konsep hasrat Jacques Lacan yaitu hasrat memiliki (to have) dan hasrat menjadi (to be) dapat menganalisis hasrat yang ada pada tokoh Humbert. Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah tokoh Humbert dalam film Lolita (1997) karya Adrian Lyne. Objek formal penelitian ini adalah konsep hasrat Jacques Lacan yang memfokuskan pada hasrat memiliki (to have) dan hasrat menjadi (to be). Penelitian dalam skripsi ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi, interpretasi dan kesinambungan historis. Deskripsi, yakni memaparkan seluruh data penelitian pustaka. Interpretasi, yakni peneliti berusaha memberi pandangan mengenai hasrat yang ada pada tokoh Humbert. Kesinambungan historis, yakni menyelidiki pemikiran tokoh yang diambil sebagai objek formal dan tema yang diambil dalam penelitian. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) kekosongan eksistensial memicu hasrat memiliki dan hasrat menjadi, (2) tokoh Humbert dalam film mengindikasi adanya penyimpangan seksual, (3) pedofilia pada tokoh Humbert merupakan representasi dari segi hasrat memiliki (to have).

Human beings are endowed with freedom of action. All actions based on what they think and sense. The past experiences are references to the next actions. There are an infinite number of aspects to human beings. One of the significant aspects to be considered is desire. Desire manifest itself in human emotion. Based on this idea, researchers are interested to do a study with a title: The concept of desire based on Humbert's character in Lolita (1997) directed by Adrian Lyne. The aim of this study is to describe the desire that drives the main character, Humbert, to become a pedophiles. The Jacques Lacan's concept of desire is to have and to be are able to analyze the existing desire on Humbert's character. The material object of this study is the character of Humbert in the movie: Lolita (1997) directed by Adrian Lyne. Meanwhile, the formal object of this study is the concept of desire mentioned by Jacques Lacan. This study is literature review based. The approach of analysis used description, interpretation, and historical continuity. Decription is exposing the entire findings of the literature data. Interpretation is when the researcher are trying to give their oppinion to the existing desire in Humbert's character. Historical continuity is used to investigate the concept mentioned by Jacques Lacan and the theme drawn in this study. The result finding of this study are: (1) the existential empriness triggers desire to have and to be, (2) The character of Humbert in the movie indicates the presence of sexsual disorder, (3) Being a pedophile is a reprsentation in terms of the desire to be.
