PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (job site Adaro) adalah salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi batubara. dalam proses produksinya PT. BUMA memiliki beberapa jenis alat berat yang utama, salah satunya yaitu Bulldozer. pada unit alat berat terutama bulldozer, untuk aplikasi proses produksi sebagai unit dozing and ripping. dimana biaya perawatan untuk komponen undercarriage sangat dominan. tujuan penelitian perawatan komponen undercarriage D155A-6 dimaksud untuk mengukur dan merekam keausan pada komponen undercarriage. hasil dari pengukuran akan dihitung untuk memperkirakan waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengganti atau memperbaiki komponen undercarriage. metode penelitian yang dilakukan penulis 1.) study literatus, mengumpulkan sumber dari beberapa buku yang berhubungan dengan komponen undercarriage D155A-6 produk komatsu dengan cara mengoperasikannya. 2.)penelitian langsung dilapangan, mengikuti kegiatan kerja lapangan. 3.) wawancara dengan staff dan karyawan, berinteraksi langsung dengan staff dan karyawan PT. BUMA. setiap komponen undercarriage memiliki tingkat keausan dan umur komponen yang berbeda-beda disebabkan pengoprasian unit dan kondisi lingkungan yang dikerjakan unit beroperasi.

BUMA has saveral main types of heavy equipment, one of which is the bulldozer. in units of heavy equipment especially bulldozer, for the application prosess as unit production dozing and ripping. where the cost of care for undercarriage components are very measure and record the wear on the undercarriage components. the results of the measurements are calculated to estimate the time that need to replace or repair the undercarriage components. method of research by the author 1.) study literature, collecting source of several books related to the undercarriage components komatsu D155A-6 product with how to operate it. 2.) research in the field, following the work activities in the field. 3.) interviews with staff and employees, interacting directly with the staff and employees of PT.BUMA. each undercarriage components have high levels of wear and age of dofferent components caused operator of the unit and the environmental conditions in the working unit operates.
