ANALISIS DAN DESAIN SISTEM INFORMASI TERMINAL MAKANAN NEGARA (TEMAN) MENGGUNAKAN DYNAMIC SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT METHOD

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyusun desain sistem infonnasi Terminal Makanan Negara (TEMAN) dengan menggunakan metodologi Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) yang berbasis pada Rapid Application Development (RAD). Penggunaan metodologi DSDM diharapkan dapat menghasilkan desain sistem infonnasi yang sesuai dengan fungsionalitas dan kualitas yang diharapkan dengan menganalisis persyaratan dan unsur pendukung serta sesuai dengan alokasi waktu dan biaya proyek. Tahap pengumpulan data dan perumusan kebutuhan sistem dilakukan melalui tehnik Joint Application Development dan prototyping . Data dan infonnasi yang terkumpu1 pada tahap pengumpulan data, dianalisis untuk pemodelan data, proses bisnis serta antannuka sis tern. Hasil tahap analisis dan pemodelan menghasilkan desain diagram alur data, database serta prototipe yang disepakati secara bersama baik oleh pihak pengembang, pemilik proyek serta pihak terkait lainnya. Deviasi pada alokasi waktu dan sumber daya lainnya masih dalam tahap yang wajar dan dapat dikendalikan, berbeda dengan penggunaan metodologi konvensional yang sering menimbulkan deviasi yang signifikan pada alokasi waktu dan biaya proyek. This study aims to develop information systems design of Terminal Makanan Negara (TEMAN) using the methodology of the Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) based on Rapid Application Development (RAD). DSDM methodology implementation is expected to generate the appropriate information systems design with functionality and quality expected by analyzing the requirements and others information, and in accordance with the allocation of time and cost of the project Phase of data collection and formulation of technical requirements implemented through Joint Application Development and prototyping. Data and information collected at this phase, were analyzed for data modeling, business process and systems interfaces. Results of analysis and modeling phase are to produce design data flow diagrams, database and prototype which were signed by developers, project owners and other concerned parties. Deviation in the allocation oftime and other resources are still in a reasonable and manageable, unlike the use of conventional methodologies which often lead to significant deviation in the allocation oftime and cost of the project.
