The p111pose of this stuc~y is to measure the difference of organi::ational commitment and adversity between permanent employee and outsourcing employee at PT Bank RaA.yat indonesia. This research surveyed 101 permanent and outsourcing employee at operatio11al di1·ision PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. Each l'(lriable ,,·as measured hy d({(erent i11strument. Organi::alional commitmenl 11·as measured by Alle11 and Meyer organi::alional commitme111 scale (I 990). and adt•ersizv scale 11 ·as measure hy S10ltz adl'ersizv re~ponse pn?file (I 99 7). Analysis of l'ariance ll'as used to wwly::e 1he di./Jerence of organizational commitment and adversity bet11 ·een permanent employee and owsourcing employee, and to ana~vze the relationships bet\\·!!en a(h•ersity and organizational commitment permanent employee and out.wurcing [!mployee using multiple regression cma~vsis. The result sh01 red that (/) there is sign(/icant d(fference 01ganizational commitment and adversity between permanent employee and outsourcing employee, outsourcing employee have less organizational commitment and adversity than permanent employee, (2} there is relationships between adversity and permanent employee's affective and normative commitment, but no relationships between adversity and permanent employee's continuance commitment, {3) there is no relationships between adversity and outsourcing employee 's organizational commitment.
