Textile Engineering Study Program at Universitas Islam Indonesia is one of the study programs with a small number of students. This can be seen from the fluctuating number of active students each year, with only 9 students enrolled in 2024. The right marketing strategy is the key to success in attracting prospective students. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that influence program choice by examining their significance levels and determining why these factors are influential. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Sampling was conducted using a census method. Statistical analysis in this study used multiple linear regression, partial T-test, simultaneous F-test, coefficient of determination, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously, all variables have a significant effect on prospective students' satisfaction in choosing this study program. Partially, the results show that information sources are the most dominant factor, followed by the facilities offered by the study program, interests, university rankings and reputation, tuition fees, and individual characteristics. However, the role of the family does not have a significant effect on prospective students' decisions in choosing a study program. These results indicate that prospective students' decisions in choosing this study program are more influenced by information and academic quality factors than social factors. Thus, the marketing strategy for this study program needs to emphasize the provision of comprehensive information and highlight academic facilities to suit the characteristics of prospective students as independent and rational decision-makers.
