Pergulatan Wacana LGBTQ dalam Kelindan Identitas dan Seksualitas: Analisis Wacana Daring Kolom Komentar Instagram @magdaleneid pada Perayaan Pride Month

Keberadaan kelompok Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, Transgender, dan Queer atau yang disingkat LGBTQ di Indonesia sampai saat ini masih menjadi kontroversi, kondisi tersebut diperparah lagi dengan maraknya wacana terkait identitas dan seksualitas LGBTQ yang digunakan sebagai dasar pembenaran atas perlakuan diskriminasi dan marginalisasi. Diskriminasi terhadap kelompok LGBTQ tidak hanya dalam bentuk kekerasan fisik saja, tetapi juga secara verbal, yang dapat dilihat dari komentar-komentar netizen di media sosial. Seperti yang tampak pada unggahan Instagram @magdaleneid dengan keterangan, “Selamat Bulan Juni” pada perayaan Pride Month tahun 2024. Berangkat dari interaksi dan diskusi yang terbangun dalam kolom komentar unggahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah dan menganalisis wacana yang muncul terkait identitas dan seksualitas kelompok LGBTQ. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana dengan pisau bedah Analisis Wacana Daring dari Marie-Anne Paveau, yang membagi diskursus daring ke dalam empat kategori utama, yakni kategori delinearization yang melihat penggunaan berbagai fitur tekno yang tersedia di Instagram, seperti likes, share, replay, mention, tautan atau link, dan hashtag. Kategori kedua, development or extension of declarative prerogatives untuk menganalisis kehadiran pengguna lain yang menjadi sumber informasi atau penyampai pesan yang cukup signifikan. Kategori ketiga, technogenericity yakni hadirnya wacana-wacana tertentu, seperti pada penelitian ini terdapat tiga wacana utama terkait kelompok LGBTQ, diantaranya (1) wacana diskriminasi dan opresi gender berbasis agama, (2) wacana feminisme dan kesetaraan gender, dan (3) wacana progresivitas berbasis kognitif: penggunaan istilah “open minded” dan “cupet” dalam melihat kelompok LGBTQ. Dan kategori terakhir, plurisemiotics yang ditandai dengan penggunaan emotikon berbendera pelangi serta emotikon hati (love) yang digunakan untuk memperkaya proses penyampaian pesan.

The existence of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community in Indonesia remains controversial. This situation is further exacerbated by the rampant discourse related to LGBTQ identity and sexuality, which is used as a justification for discrimination and marginalization. Discrimination against LGBTQ people is not only in the form of physical violence, but also verbal, as can be seen in netizen comments on social media. As seen in the Instagram post @magdaleneid with the caption, "Selamat Bulan Juni" during the 2024 Pride Month celebration. Departing from the interactions and discussions that arose in the comment section of the post, this study aims to examine and analyze the discourse that emerged regarding the identity and sexuality of the LGBTQ group. This study uses discourse analysis with the scalpel of Online Discourse Analysis by Marie-Anne Paveau, which divides online discourse into four main categories: the delinearization category that looks at the use of various technological features available on Instagram, such as likes, shares, replays, mentions, links, and hashtags. The second category, development or extension of declarative prerogatives to analyze the presence of other users who are quite significant sources of information or message conveyors. The third category, technogenericity, namely the presence of certain discourses, such as in this study there are three main discourses related to the LGBTQ group, including (1) the discourse of discrimination and gender oppression based on religion, (2) the discourse of feminism and gender equality, and (3) the discourse of cognitive-based progressiveness: the use of the terms "open-minded" and "cupet" in viewing the LGBTQ group. And the last category, plurisemiotics which is characterized by the use of rainbow flag emoticons and heart emoticons (love) which are used to enrich the process of conveying messages.
