Struktur Kepribadian Tokoh Utama Moon Dong Eun dalam Web Drama "The Glory"

Penelitian ini membahas struktur kepribadian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan struktur kepribadian tokoh utama, yakni Moon Dong Eun dalam web drama “The Glory”. Data-data diambil dari dialog tokoh. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, berbagai data tersebut diidentifikasi berdasarkan teori Psikoanalisis Sigmund. 

Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga struktur kepribadian yang ada di dalam diri tokoh Moon Dong Eun, yakni id, ego, dan superego. Aspek id tercermin melalui dorongan kuat untuk membalaskan dendamnya kepada para pelaku perundungan yang terdiri atas Park Yeon Jin, Son Myeong Oh, Lee Sa Ra, Choi Hye Jeong, dan Jeon Jae Joon serta wali kelasnya. Sementara itu, aspek ego tergambar melalui pengendalian antara hasrat balas dendamnya dengan pemikiran rasional sehingga menghasilkan berbagai strategi pembalasan dendam yang sistematis tanpa melibatkan kekerasan fisik secara langsung. Lalu, aspek superego termanifestasikan melalui moralitas dan empati yang terwujud dalam bentuk perasaan bersalah, tidak tega, serta keinginan untuk menolong sesama korban perundungan.

This research discusses the concept of personality structures. The aim of this study is to examine the personality structures of the main character in a web drama “The Glory”. The research data is taken from the character’s dialogues. Applying a qualitative method, the data are analyzed based on Sigmund Freud’s Psychoanalysis theory.

The analysis result shows that there are three personality structures within Moon Dong Eun character, namely id, ego, and superego. The aspect of the id is reflected in her strong desire to revenge against the perpetrators who consists of Park Yeon Jin, Son Myeong Oh, Lee Sa Ra, Choi Hye Jeong, and Jeon Jae Joon, also her homeroom teacher. The ego is illustrated through her ability to control the urge for revenge with rational and reality thinking, resulting in systematic revenge strategies that do not involve direct physical violence. Furthermore, the superego aspect is manifested through morality and empathy, expressed in the feelings of guilt, compassion, and the desire to help friends who are also victims of bullying.
