TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DIREKTIF DALAM VARIETY SHOW ENHYPEN: EN-O’CLOCK

Penelitian ini menganalisis tindak tutur ilokusi direktif yang dituturkan oleh anggota Enhypen dengan latar kebangsaan berbeda, yaitu Jungwon (Korea), Jake (Korea-Australia), dan Ni-ki (Jepang) dalam variety show En-O’Clock episode 11 sampai dengan 20. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasikan dan mendeskripsikan jenis dan fungsi serta perbandingan (persamaan dan perbedaan) penggunaan tindak tutur ilokusi direktif oleh Jungwon, Jake, dan Ni-ki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan berlandaskan teori jenis tindak tutur direktif oleh Ibrahim (1993) dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif oleh Leech (1983).

Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Jungwon, Jake, dan Ni-ki menuturkan semua jenis tindak tutur ilokusi direktif, yaitu permintaan (requestives), pertanyaan (questions), perintah (requirements), larangan (prohibitives), perizinan (permissives), saran (advisories). Sementara itu, fungsi yang dituturkan oleh Jungwon, Jake, dan Ni-ki meliputi fungsi kolaboratif, konvival, dan kompetitif. Persamaan penggunaan jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi direktif, yakni fungsi kompetitif, konvival, dan kolaboratif. Lalu, perbedaan penggunaan jenis dan fungsi oleh ketiga anggota ditunjukkan oleh variasi jenis, situasi, karakteristik, dan kecenderungan penggunaannya. 

This study analyzes directive illocutionary acts performed by members of Enhypen with different national backgrounds, namely Jungwon (Korean), Jake (Korean-Australian), and Ni-ki (Japanese), in the variety show En-O’Clock, episodes 11 to 20. The purpose of this research is to examine the types and functions of directive illocutionary acts as well as the similarities and differences in their usage. The theoretical framework applied includes Ibrahim’s theory (1993) and Leech’s theory (1983). This study employs a qualitative method with the observe-and-note technique. The data were obtained from transcripts of the utterances produced by the three Enhypen members, which were then classified and analyzed based on their forms.

The findings indicate that all six types of directive illocutionary acts, such as requestives, questions, requirements, prohibitives, permissives, and advisories appear in the show. Meanwhile, the functions identified in this study are collaborative, convivial, and competitive. The similarities in the use of directive illocutionary acts lie in the fact that all three members employed the six types and utilized all three functions mentioned above. Meanwhile, differences in their use of directive acts are reflected in the variation of types, communicative situations, individual characteristics, and their respective usage tendencies.
