Peran Penyutradaraan Dalam Film Dokumenter “Lelana”: Perjuangan Eksistensi Kelompok Penghayat Melalui Regenerasi Kelompok Palang Putih Nusantara (Kejawen Urip Sejati)

Orde Baru menjadi luka bagi kelompok penghayat kepercayaan, terutama saat dikeluarkanya Undang-Undang PNPS No 1 1965. Akibat hal tersebut penghayat mendapatkan diskriminasi tidak hanya negara tetapi juga masyarakat. Saat ini penghayat kepercayaan memperjuangkan eksistensinya dengan mengupayakan regenerasi melalui pendidikan formal maupun tradisional. Meskipun begitu penghayat masih memiliki tantangan-tantangan tertentu untuk tetap bertahan. Penelitian ini akan berbentuk karya dokumenter pendek yang berfokus kepada proses dan aspek penyutradaraan dalam proses pembuatan dokumenter pendek. Dokumenter pendek berdurasi 27 menit ini berfokus pada upaya regenerasi yang dilakukan PPN agar tetap bertahan. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Pra-produksi terdiri dari riset dan penulisan naskah. Produksi berfokus pada pengambilan gambar di lapangan. Pasca produksi sebagai proses penyuntingan film dokumenter.

The New Order era inflicted wounds upon the faith believer community, particularly with the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 1 of 1965. Consequently, believers faced discrimination not only from the state but also from society. Currently, faith believers are striving to maintain their existence by pursuing regeneration through formal and traditional education. Nevertheless, believers still encounter certain challenges to sustain their existence. This research takes the form of a short documentary, focusing on the directing process involved in the production of a 27 minute film. The documentary centers on the regeneration efforts undertaken by Palang Putih Nusanatara faith believer to ensure their survival. The methodology employed encompasses three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The pre- production stage consists of research and scriptwriting. The production phase focuses on on- location filming. Post-production involves the editing process of the documentary film.
