STRATEGI BERSAING LAYANAN CASH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DALAM TRANSACTION BANKING DI PT BANK SYARIAH INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis
strategi bersaing layanan Cash Management System (CMS) dalam transaction
banking di PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Layanan CMS menjadi instrumen
penting dalam mendukung digitalisasi perbankan syariah serta memenuhi kebutuhan
nasabah korporat dalam mengelola likuiditas secara efisien dan real-time. Meskipun
BSI telah melakukan inovasi teknologi melalui platform BEWIZE, tingkat adopsi
dan loyalitas nasabah terhadap layanan CMS masih belum optimal, serta
menghadapi persaingan dari bank konvensional dan fintech. Penelitian ini
menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis SWOT untuk mengevaluasi
kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi BSI dalam pengembangan
layanan CMS. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan utama BSI terletak
pada infrastruktur teknologi dan kepatuhan syariah, sementara kelemahan
mencakup keterbatasan SDM dan kerentanan keamanan sistem. Peluang besar berasal
dari pasar perbankan syariah yang terus tumbuh dan preferensi masyarakat
terhadap layanan digital. Namun, ancaman berasal dari kompetitor yang
menawarkan layanan lebih gesit dan inovatif. Strategi yang direkomendasikan
adalah penguatan inovasi layanan, peningkatan kualitas SDM, serta pengembangan
fitur-fitur digital yang lebih user-friendly dan sesuai kebutuhan
korporasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi BSI maupun
bank syariah lain dalam merumuskan strategi layanan berbasis digital yang
unggul dan berkelanjutan.

This study aims to analyze the competitive strategy of the Cash Management
System (CMS) service within transaction banking at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia
(BSI). CMS plays a vital role in supporting digital transformation in Islamic
banking and meeting the needs of corporate clients in managing liquidity
efficiently and in real-time. Despite BSI’s technological innovations through
the BEWIZE platform, the adoption rate and customer loyalty toward CMS remain
suboptimal, especially amid competition from conventional banks and fintech
firms. This study employs a qualitative approach using SWOT analysis to examine
BSI’s internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and
threats in developing CMS services. The findings reveal that BSI’s main strengths
lie in its technological infrastructure and Sharia compliance, while weaknesses
include limited human resources and potential system security vulnerabilities.
The growing Islamic banking market and the public’s increasing preference for
digital services present significant opportunities, whereas agile and
innovative competitors pose serious threats. The recommended strategy involves
enhancing service innovation, improving human capital quality, and developing
user-friendly digital features tailored to corporate needs. The results of this
study are expected to serve as a reference for BSI and other Islamic banks in
formulating sustainable, competitive, and technology-based service strategies. Keywords: Competitive strategy, cash management system, Islamic banking,
