The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy that established by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in January 2020 has become a new breakthrough and innovation in the world of learning within universities, one of which was the launch of Magang Bersertifikat program. Through this program, students can freely choose the company, position, and work system that they want, including the application of direct, remote, or hybrid work during the internship program. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of remote work arrangements on self-leadership which is also moderated by supervisor support in Magang Bersertifikat MBKM participants. A total of 120 respondents who have and/or are currently implementing Magang Bersertifikat MBKM have participated in filling out this research questionnaire.
The results obtained in this study indicate that remote work arrangements have a positive impact on self-leadership behavior, significantly. However, supervisor support did not have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between remote work arrangements and self-leadership.
