Pengaruh Kompensasi dan Hubungan Interpersonal Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Generasi Milenial di Wilayah Kota Yogyakarta

Employee performance improvement has become a crucial factor for every organization/institution. This is because employee performance is the key to the success of an organization/institution in achieving its goals. Currently, the Y generation, also known as the millennial generation, is one of the largest groups in the current labor market, with a population of 69.69 million or 25.87% of the total population in Indonesia, and they are expected to dominate the workforce by 75% starting from 2020. Given this situation, the researchers aim to analyze the compensation and interpersonal relationships acquired by millennial generation employees to enhance their performance.
This study utilizes quantitative research and employs probability sampling through the distribution of questionnaires using the Google Forms application. The data analysis method used includes validity testing, reliability testing, classic assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis performed with the assistance of SPSS 25.
The test results indicate that: 1) Compensation has a positive and significant impact on the performance of millennial generation employees. 2) Interpersonal relationships have a positive and significant impact on the performance of millennial generation employees. 3) Compensation and Interpersonal Relationships, when considered together, have a significant impact on the performance of millennial generation employees.
