TINJAUAN KONSEP SENI ABSURD ALBERT CAMUS PADA BLUES EXPRESSIVENESS DI ALBUM B.B. KING “LIVE AT THE REGAL”

Tujuan penelitian ini meninjau blues expressiveness yang hadir dalam eskpresi lirikal di album B.B. King "Live At The Regal" dalam perspektif Konsep Seni Absurd Albert Camus. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi narasi eksistensial yang hadir dalam eskpresi lirikal di album B.B. King "Live At The Regal". Narasi eksistensial tersebut memunculkan pertanyaan mengenai motif kesenian apa yang mendorong musisi blues untuk mengespresikan blues expressiveness.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan buku maupun jurnal sebagai referensi yang berkaitan dengan latar belakang dan aplikasi Konsep Seni Absurd Albert Camus dalam karya seni. Objek material penelitian ini adalah blues expressiveness di album B.B. King "Live At The Regal". Penelitian ini berjalan melalui empat tahap yaitu, persiapan, inventarisasi, analisis, dan penyusunan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga metodis, yaitu unsur deskripsi, interpretasi dani nduksi.
Hasil penelitan ini adalah blues expressiveness yang hadir album B.B. King "Live At The Regal" mempromosikan absurd dan respon pemberontakan terhadapnya lewat dalam eskpresi lirikalnya. Bentuknya adalah periwayatan tragedi lewat kacamata orang pertama yang digunakan untuk mengeskpresikan kesedihan personal, absurditas blues yang membelenggu "I" sedemikian rupa tanpa henti. Sebagai sosok protagonis, "I" meriwayatkan tragedi kehidupannya dalam lirik-lirik lagu di album ini. Persoalan hidupnya diilustrasikan lewat dinamika hubungan antar manusia juga dengan dunia yangmembelenggu "I". Linearitas dari kisah-kisah di masing lagu yang memberikan kesinambungan narasi dari kondisi absurd dan tindakan pemberontakan terhadapnya oleh "I".
This research examines the blues expressiveness present in the lyrical expression in B.B. King's album "Live At The Regal" in the perspective of Albert Camus' Concept of Absurd Art. This research is instigated by the existential narrative that is present in the lyrical expression in B.B. King's album "Live At The Regal". The existential narrative raises questions about what artistic motives encourage blues musicians to express blues expressiveness.
This research is a literature research that uses books and journals as references related to the background and application of Albert Camus' Absurd Art Concept in artworks. The material object of this research is blues expressiveness in B.B. King's album "Live At The Regal". This research goes through four stages, namely, preparation, inventory, analysis, and compilation. Data analysis is carried out using three elements of description, interpretation, induction.
The result of this research is that the blues expressiveness present in B.B. King's album "Live At The Regal" promotes the absurd and the rebellious response to it through its lyrical expression. The form is the narration of tragedy through the first-person perspective used to express personal grief, the absurdity of the blues that shackles the protagonist in such a relentless way. The protagonist narrates the tragedy of his life in the lyrics of the songs in this album. His life problems are illustrated through the dynamics of human relationships as well as the world that shackles him. The linearity of the stories in each song provides a narrative continuity of the absurd condition and the act of rebellion against it by the protagonist.
