Pengaruh Mindfulness terhadap Kreativitas Karyawan: Peran Mediasi Modal Psikologis yang Dimoderasi oleh Dukungan Supervisor untuk Kreativitas

Research on employee creativity has been linked to a variety of predictors, but when it comes to mindfulness it still requires more extensive research. There are inconsistencies in the effect of mindfulness on employee creativity. For this reason, this study aims to examine the direct influence of mindfulness on employee creativity based on resource conservation theory. Then, this study also aims to examine the mediating role of psychological capital in the influence of mindfulness on employee creativity based on resource conservation theory supported by the componential theory of creativity. In addition, this study also aims to examine the role of moderation of supervisor support for creativity in the influence of mindfulness on employee creativity through psychological capital based on social exchange theory. This research was conducted on 157 employees and 96 supervisors of the creative industry in Indonesia who were collected by survey method and analyzed with PLS-SEM. The results of the analysis showed that mindfulness did not have a direct effect on employee creativity. However, the results of this study suggest that psychological capital mediates the influence of mindfulness on employee creativity. Similarly, supervisor support for creativity, moderating the influence of mindfulness on employee creativity through psychological capital. So this study confirms the existence of a full mediation and moderating effect in the influence of mindfulness on employee creativity. This research makes several theoretical and practical contributions that are discussed in other sections.
