KRITERIA BATAS PRIVASI DAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DALAM FILM PENDEK RAHASI KARYA NINNDI RARAS

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan persepsi terkait kriteria batas privasi antara orang dewasa dan remaja dalam film pendek film pendek Rahasia karya Ninndi Raras. Film ini juga menunjukkan batas komunikasi interpersonal dengan publik ketika rahasia disampaikan. Beberapa topik tersebut dipilih karena masalah tersebut tampak paling menonjol dalam film tersebut.

Adapun dalam menguraikan persoalan-persoalan yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini menggunakan alat teori semiotika perspektif Roland Barthes, terutama yang berkaitan dalam pembahasan film. Data penelitian yang digunakan berupa transkrip percakapan dan cuplikan gambar yang terdapat di dalam film pendek. 

Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan terhadap isi film, hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa batas komunikasi interpersonal dengan publik berupa adanya gestur yang menunjukkan kriteria batas privasi dan komunikasi interpersonal dalam film pendek Rahasia karya Ninndi Raras yang berupa tokoh gadis yang menganggap privasi merupakan hak pribadi yang disimpan masing-masing, ibu si gadis yang menganggap privasi antara ibu dan anak setara, serta bapak yang yang membatasi privasi dengan menganggap gadis merupakan anak-anak. Selain itu, batas komunikasi interpersonal berupa gestur bapak dan gadis ketika berbicara topik rahasia di dalam kereta yang berisi banyak penumpang dari berbagai kalangan.

This study examines the differences in perceptions related to privacy boundary criteria between adults and adolescents in the short movie Rahasia by Ninndi Raras. The characters in this short movie have different criteria related to privacy boundaries. In addition, the movie also reveals ethical boundaries and interpersonal privacy when privacy conversations occur. Some of these topics were chosen because they appear to be the most prominent issues in the movie.

In describing the questions behind this study, Roland Barthes's semiotic theory tools are used, especially those related to the discussion of films. The research data used are the transcripts of conversations and excerpts of images contained in short films. 

Based on the research that has been carried out on the content of the film, the results of the study show that the boundaries of interpersonal communication with the public are the presence of gestures that indicate the criteria of boundary of privacy and interpersonnel communication in the short film Secrets by Ninndi Raras which is the character of a girl who considers privacy as a personal right reserved for each, the mother of the girl who regards privacy between mother and child as equal, and the father who limits privacy by assuming the girl as a child. Besides, the boundaries of interpersonal communication are the gestures of a father and a girl when talking about secret topics in a train that contains a lot of passengers from all walks of life.
