When the world shaken by the unexpected event of COVID-19 pandemic, companies are in urge to adapt with the situation. While physical contact become the main concern, the implementation of Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) is undeniable. FWA describes as a relatively new working system especially in Indonesia that enables work to be done outside the conventional method where employees have options about time and place. In Telkom Indonesia as the leading telco and digital company in Indonesia has initiate FWA since 2017, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the company speed up the adoption to accommodate both employees and company’s needs.
Entering the era of post COVID-19 pandemic, the continuation implementation of FWA is seen as part of Telkom Human Capital to maintain its best talents and company’s business at the same time. Perceived FWA that being offered by the company may prevent employee’s voluntary quit the company. This attempt may also boost employee’s satisfaction towards the company. As a result it is expected to lower the turnover intention.
Using purposive sampling, 104 Telkom employees participated as respondents in this study by filling out both online and offline form questionnaire. Data obtained were analyzed through the PLS-SEM method using SMART-PLS software. This study supported two hypotheses: (1) Flexible Work Arrangement has negative relations to turnover intention in Telkom Indonesia, and (2) Job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between Flexible Work Arrangement and Turnover Intention.
