Pelanggaran Prinsip Kerja Sama dalam Drama "Sweet Home" (Seuwiteu Hom)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama yang ditemukan dalam drama Sweet Home (????) (SH) serta pengaruhnya dalam mencapai tujuan komunikasi. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis adalah teori Prinsip Kerja Sama Grice (1975), yang selanjutnya disingkat PKS, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Dialog dalam drama SH digunakan sebagai objek penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa metode simak bebas libat cakap dan catat. 

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya empat bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam drama SH, yaitu maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relevansi, dan maksim pelaksanaan/cara. Selain itu, juga ditemukan bentuk pelanggaran maksim ganda, yaitu maksim relevansi dan maksim pelaksanaan/cara. Penyebab pelanggaran terjadi antara lain karena tuturan yang berlebihan pada maksim kuantitas, tuturan kebohongan serta penggunaan kiasan serta perumpamaan pada pelanggaran maksim kualitas, tuturan yang tidak relevan dan implisit pada maksim relevansi, tuturan yang ambigu, tidak langsung (straightforward), dan bertele-tele pada maksim pelaksanaan/cara. Pelanggaran-pelanggaran tersebut dilakukan, baik secara sengaja maupun tidak sengaja, oleh para tokoh dengan maksud dan tujuan tertentu. Dari pelanggaran yang terjadi, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar pelanggaran PKS maksim relevansi, maksim kualitas, dan maksim pelaksanaan/cara menyebabkan kegagalan dalam mencapai tujuan komunikasi. Sementara itu, pelanggaran maksim kuantitas tidak mengakibatkan kegagalan dalam mencapai tujuan komunikasi.

This study aims to describe the forms of violation of cooperation principle maxims contained in the drama Sweet Home (????) and how they affect the achievement of communication goals. The theory used in the analysis is the Cooperation Principle of Grice (1975), hereinafter abbreviated as CP, with a descriptive-qualitative research method. Then, the dialogue in the drama Sweet Home (SH) is used as the object of research. The method used in data collection was listening without being involved and taking notes.

Furthermore, results indicated that there are four forms of CP violations in the drama Sweet Home which are the maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of manner. In addition, there are also cases where the maxim of relevance and the maxim of manner are violated at the same time. It was found that the causes of flouting of the maxims include exaggerated utterances in the maxim of quantity, lies and the use of similes and figures of speech in the case of the maxim of quality, irrelevant and implicit utterances in the maxim of relevance, as well as ambiguous, indirect, and long-winded utterances in the maxim of manner. These violations are committed either intentionally or unintentionally by the characters in the drama with specific intentions and goals. Of the violations that occur, it is found that most of violations of the maxim of relevance, maxim of quality, and maxim of manner lead to failure in achieving communication goals.
