Transformasi Webtoon ??? ?? (Girl's World) ke Web Drama ??? ?? (The World of My 17): Kajian Ekranisasi

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai transformasi webtoon Girl’s World karya webtoonist Morangg pada tahun 2015 menjadi web drama The World of My 17 yang tayang pada tahun 2020. Pada proses transformasi yang terjadi dari webtoon menjadi web drama muncul perubahan-perbedaan di antara kedua karya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan struktur, perubahan, dan perbedaan yang muncul akibat ekranisasi dari webtoon Girl’s World ke web drama The World of My 17. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton (2007) dan teori ekranisasi Pamusuk Eneste (1991) dengan memakai metode penelitian metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini adalah season pertama dari webtoon Girl’s World dan web drama The World of My 17. 

Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan pada aspek fakta cerita (alur, karakter dan latar) yang terjadi dalam proses ekranisasi webtoon Girl’s World ke web drama The World of My 17. Penciutan terjadi pada aspek fakta cerita (alur, karakter, dan latar). Penciutan dapat dilihat dengan tidak adanya karakter Hyun Soae dalam web drama. Penambahan terdapat pada unsur fakta cerita (alur, karakter, dan latar) di mana terdapat karakter baru bernama Yoo Jinhyuk di web drama. Perubahan variasi terjadi pada aspek fakta cerita (alur, karakter, dan latar) yaitu hilangnya citra karakter Oh Nari yang merupakan anak dari pemilik toko roti. Perubahan variasi juga dapat ditemukan pada aspek sarana-sarana sastra (judul). Perbedaan dan perubahan yang terjadi dalam transformasi dari webtoon Girl’s World ke web drama The World of My 17 disebabkan karena tidak semua hal dalam webtoon yang berjumlah 214 episode dapat masuk ke web drama berjumlah 12 episode yang berdurasi dari 12 hingga 17 menit per episodenya.

This research discusses the transformation of the webtoon titled Girl's World by webtoonist Morangg in 2015 into the web drama titled The World of My 17 which aired in 2020. In the transformation process that occurs from webtoon to web drama, there are changes between the two works. Therefore, this study aims to describe the structure, changes, and differences that arise due to the ecranization from the webtoon titled Girl's World to the web drama titled The World of My 17. The theory used in this study is Robert Stanton's structural theory (2007) and Pamusuk Eneste's ecranization theory (1991) using the qualitative descriptive method research method. The data sources for this research are the first season of the webtoon Girl's World and the web drama The World of My 17.

The results obtained from this study indicate that there are changes in the aspects of story facts (plot, character and setting) that occur in the process of ecranization of the Girl's World webtoon to the web drama The World of My 17. Shrinkages can be seen in the absence of Hyun Soae's character in the web drama. Additions are found in the elements of story facts (plot, character, and setting). There is a new character named Yoo Jinhyuk in the web drama. Variation change can be found in the aspect of story facts (plot, characters, and setting) where there are none of Oh Nari's character images as the daughter of the bakery owner. Variation change also can be found in the aspect of literatury tools (title). The difference and changes that occurs in the transformation from the webtoon Girl's World to the web drama The World of My 17 occur because not everything in the 214- episode webtoon can fit into the 12-episode web drama that lasts from 12 to 17 minutes per episode.
