Alih Kode dan Campur Kode pada Stand Up Comedy Rawsan Hallak dalam serial Comedians of The World: Analisis Sosiolinguistik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap macam-macam bentuk alih kode dan campur kode dan faktor penyebabnya yang terdapat pada stand up comedy Rawsan Hallak dalam serial Comedians of The World. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah serial stand up comedy Comedians of The World yang ditampilkan oleh Rawsan Hallak dengan durasi selama 29:50 menit. Terdapat dua landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu teori sosiolinguistik dan teori alih kode dan campur kode. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 metode, yaitu metode penyediaan data, metode analisis data, dan metode penyajian data. Metode penyediaan data dengan metode simak dengan Teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasar dan teknik catat sebagai teknik lanjutan. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah metode kontekstual sehingga didapatkan deskripsi bentuk alih kode dan campur kode serta penyebabnya yang terdapat dalam serial Comedians of The World, dan metode informal sebagai metode penyajian data. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan 6 buah alih kode. Adapun campur kode terdapat 26 campur kode berbentuk kata, dan 11 buah campur kode berbentuk frasa. Alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi yaitu dari bahasa Arab 'Amiyyah ke bahasa Inggris. Penyebab terjadinya alih kode dan campur kode disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya adalah faktor penutur, perubahan situasi dari formal ke informal, perubahan topik pembicaraan, dan tidak adanya ungkapan yang tepat dalam bahasa yang digunakan. Selain itu, hal ini juga terjadi karena penampilan tersebut tidak hanya ditonton oleh masyarakat yang berbahasa Arab, melainkan juga masyarakat multilingual.

This research aims to reveal the various forms of code switching and code mixing and the causal factors found in Rawsan Hallak's stand up comedy in the Comedians of The World series. The data source of this research is the stand up comedy series Comedians of The World which is shown by Rawsan Hallak with a duration of 29:50 minutes. There are two theoretical foundations used in this research, sociolinguistic theory and code switching and code mixing theory. This research uses 3 methods, the method of providing data, the method of data analysis, and the method of presenting the data. The method of providing data is the listening method with the tapping technique as the basic technique and the note-taking technique as an advanced technique. The method used to analyze the data is a contextual method to obtain a description of the form of code switching and code mixing and the causes contained in the Comedians of The World series, and the informal method as a method of presenting data. Based on the research that has been done, found 6 pieces of code switching. As for code mixing, there are 26 code mixing in the form of words, and 11 code mixing in the form of phrases. The code switching and code mixing were from Arabic 'Amiyyah to English. The causes of code switching and code mixing are caused by several factors, including the speaker factor, changes in the situation from formal to informal, changes in the topic of conversation, and the absence of appropriate expressions in the language used. In addition, this also happened because the performance was not only watched by Arabic-speaking people, but also multilingual people.
