GAYA HIDUP MASYARAKAT MENENGAH ATAS DALAM NOVEL ANTOLOGI RASA KARYA IKA NATASSA: ANALISIS PENOKOHAN

Karya sastra, khususnya novel, memiliki unsur otonom yang disebut dengan fakta cerita. Suatu karya memiliki unsur yang menonjol. Pada novel Antologi Rasa karya Ika Natassa, unsur yang menonjol adalah unsur tokoh dan penokohan. Unsur tokoh tidak bisa dipisahkan dari alur dan latar karena berperan sebagai penggerak cerita. Tokoh dalam novel ini memiliki karakteristik sebaai masyarakat menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penokohan untuk menentukan klasifikasi tokoh, motivasi tokoh, dan hubungan unsur tokoh dengan unsur lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Setelah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data, didapatkan hasil bahwa para tokoh dalam novel Antologi Rasa termasuk dalam kelompok masyarakat menengah atas. Klasifikasi tokoh dibagi menjadi tokoh utama yang utama, tokoh utama yang tambahan, tokoh tambahan yang utama, dan tokoh tambahan yang memang tambahan. Ada pun klasifikasi tokoh berdasar watak, fungsi tokoh, dan berkembang tidaknya tokoh. Motivasi tokoh sangat dipengaruhi oleh kehadiran tokoh lain. Hubungan unsur tokoh dengan unsur lain membuat novel Antologi Rasa menjadi karya sastra yang utuh.

Literary works, especially novels, have an autonomous element called story facts. A literary work has a prominent element. In Ika Natassa's book, entitled Antologi Rasa, the element that stand out are the character and characteristic. The character element becomes an inseparable element from plot and setting because it acts as a driving force for the story. The characters of this novel have a strong characteristic as a upper-middle class. This research uses characterization theory to specify classification of figures, character motivations, and relationship of character element with other elements. The method that used in this research is analytical descriptive method. After describing and analyzing data, the results were obtained that the characters in Antologi Rasa belonged to the upper-middle class. The classification of figures divided into the main character that main character, the additional main character, the main additional character, and the additional character who are indeed additional. There is also a classification of figures based on character, the function of character, and the development of character. The motivation of the characters are genuinely influenced by the presence of other figures. The relationship of the character element with other element makes Antologi Rasa became a complete literary work.
