SITUASI-DARURAT DAN MUNCULNYA PAHLAWAN-PAHLAWAN DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN SAKSI MATA KARYA SENO GUMIRA AJIDARMA

Kumpulan cerpen Saksi Mata karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma membicarakan persoalan kemanusiaan dalam relasinya dengan kekuasaan negara. Warga negara di dalam cerpen digambarkan mengalami berbagai bentuk kekerasan karena pemberlakuan situasi-darurat. Akan tetapi, paparan kekerasan tersebut bukan memunculkan kepasrahan, melainkan justru gejolak resistansi. Dalam konteks resistansi itulah kemudian muncul subjek-subjek pahlawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pemikiran politik Giorgio Agamben mengenai kedaruratan untuk membongkar dalih-dalih pemberlakuan situasi-darurat yang berakibat pada diproduksinya subjek-subjek homo sacer, sementara pembahasan pahlawan-pahlawan menggunakan perspektif Goethals-Allison, ditambah potensi pahlawan dari subjek-subjek yang ditawarkan Zizek, Ranciere, dan Gramsci. Sejalan dengan itu, penelitian ini bertujuan: mengungkap dalih-dalih pemberlakuan situasi-darurat yang memunculkan subjek-subjek homo sacer dalam cerpen; mengungkap terbentuknya kepahlawanan pada tokoh-tokohnya; serta kategori pahlawan yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh-tokoh tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai bentuk situasi-darurat dalam Saksi Mata diberlakukan karena dalih penumpasan kelompok pemberontak, subjek-subjek pro pemisahan wilayah, atau secara umum yang memiliki suara berbeda dengan kehendak negara, yang notabene oleh kekuasaan dipandang mengganggu kestabilan pemerintahan. Disebabkan situasi tersebutlah, tokoh-tokoh dalam cerpen kemudian muncul untuk bertindak resistan, yang selanjutnya bertransformasi menjadi pahlawan dengan berbagai kategori, selaras situasi-darurat yang dihadapi, antara lain pahlawan sipil, pahlawan martial yang ditransposisikan, pahlawan spontan, pahlawan tragis, pahlawan sosial, dan pahlawan ideologis. Eksistensi mereka menunjukkan bahwa benar, situasi-darurat berupa penangguhan hukum yang memicu berbagai bentuk kekerasan oleh aparatus, relatif berhasil memadamkan perlawanan secara fisik atau sebatas pada tataran permukaan, namun pada situasi yang lebih jauh dan tersembunyi, ia justru gagal menumpas gelora-gelora baru dari perlawanan warga negara, khususnya para subjek homo sacer yang menolak untuk bungkam.

The short story collection Saksi Mata by Seno Gumira Ajidarma was talked about humanity's problems concerning the state (power). Citizens in the short stories represented experiencing several forms of violence because of the state of exception enforcement. However, the exposure of violence does not lead to surrender but instead the turmoil of resistance. It is in the context of this resistance that hero subjects appear. This research uses Giorgio Agamben's political thinking about the exception to dismantle excuses pretexts of state of exception, resulting in the production of homo sacer subjects, while the heroes' explanation uses Goethals-Allison, Zizek, Ranciere, and Gramsci's perspective. In line with that, this research aims to: reveal excuses the state of exception enforcement which brings out homo sacer subjects in the short stories; reveal the formation of hero in the characters; also, the categories of heroes represented by characters. The method used is descriptive-qualitative. The results show that several forms of state of exception in Saksi Mata are enforced because of the pretext of destructing on rebel groups, subjects pro-segregation of territories, or in general who has a voice that is different from the state's will, which in fact by the power is seen as disturbing the stability of the government. Their existence shows that it is true; the state of exception is the suspension of law which triggered various forms of violence by the apparatus, was relatively successful in quelling resistance physically or only at the surface level. However, in a more remote and hidden situation, it failed to quell new surges of citizen resistance, especially homo sacer subjects who refused to silence. Because of this situation, the characters in the short stories appear to act resistance, which transforms into heroes with various categories, in line with the state of exception they face, including civil heroes, transposed martial heroes, tragic heroes, social heroes, ideological heroes.
