KECEMASAN DAN MEKANISME PERTAHANAN TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL KONBINI NINGEN KARYA SAYAKA MURATA: KAJIAN PSIKOANALISIS SIGMUND FREUD

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kepribadian tokoh Furukura Keiko dalam novel Konbini Ningen menggunakan perspektif psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap struktur kepribadian tokoh berdasarkan hubungan Id, Ego, dan Superego. Lalu, mengungkap bentuk-bentuk kecemasan yang dialami tokoh, serta mekanisme pertahanan ego yang dilakukan oleh tokoh Keiko untuk mereduksi kecemasannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Namun, sebelum menganalisis kepribadian tokoh Keiko, peneliti terlebih dahulu menganalisis unsur-unsur pembangun cerita menggunakan teori fiksi Robert Stanton yang terdiri dari analisis tema dan fakta cerita sebagai pengetahuan awal untuk memahami kondisi kejiwaan tokoh. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data literer berupa kutipan-kutipan yang terdapat di dalam novel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian tokoh Keiko dipengaruhi oleh tiga sistem kepribadian utama, yakni id, ego serta superego. Pertentangan antara Id dan Superego dalam diri Keiko membuat Ego merealisasikan dorongan-dorongan tersebut ke dalam bentuk-bentuk tindakan atau perilaku yang dianggap menyimpang dan tidak sesuai dengan norma yang berlaku. Ketidak seimbangan Id dan Superego dalam diri Keiko membuat Keiko mengalami kecemasan. Kecemasan yang dialami oleh Keiko berupa realitas, kecemasan neurotik, dan kecemasan moral. Untuk meredakan kecemasan yang dialami oleh Keiko, Ego pun melakukan mekanisme pertahanan untuk mengurangi kecemasan tersebut. Mekanisme pertahanan Ego yang dilakukan berupa, rasionalisasi, pemindahan, proyeksi, represi, penyangkalan, sublimasi, dan kompensasi.

This research describes the personality of Furukura Keiko in Konbini Ningen's novel using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis perspective. The purpose of this research is to uncover the personality structure of figures based on the connection of Id, Ego, and Superego. Then, this research also explains the forms of anxiety experienced by the character, as well as the mechanism of ego defense used by Keiko to reduce her anxiety. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis approach. However, before analyzing the personality of Keiko's character, the researchers analyzed the elements of the story builder, that is by using analysis text theory by Robert Stanton's to consist of analysis of the theme and facts of the story, this was done as an initial knowledge to understand the psychological condition of the character. The data used in this research is literary data in the form of quotations contained in the novel. The results obtained from this research show that Keiko personality is influenced by three main personality systems, that is id, ego and superego. The conflict between Id and Superego in Keiko has led Ego to realize these impulses into forms of actions or behaviors that are considered deviant and not in accordance with the prevailing norms. Id and Superego's imbalance in Keiko has caused Keiko to experience anxiety. Anxiety that Keiko experienced is reality anxiety, neurotik anxiety, and moral anxiety. To relieve the anxiety experienced by Keiko, Ego also performs defense mechanisms to reduce the anxiety. Ego defense mechanisms are carried out in the form of rationalization, displacement, projection, repression, denial, sublimation, and compensation.
