KONFLIK SOSIAL DAN STRATEGI PENYELESAIANNYA DALAM NOVEL UKHRUJ MINHAA YAA MAL'UUN KARYA SHADDAAM HUSAIN: ANALISIS SOSIOLOGI SASTRA

Penelitian ini membahas tentang konflik sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun karya Shaddaam Husain. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori konflik sosial Dean G. Pruitt dan Jeffrey Z. Rubin dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Konflik sosial tokoh utama dalam novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun dibagi menjadi enam kelompok yaitu perkelahian, kecurangan, pemerkosaan, peperangan, pembunuhan dan penyerangan. Konflik perkelahian dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu perkelahian antara Hasqiil dengan keluarganya dan perkelahian antara Hasqiil dengan orang lain. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan empat konflik perkelahian antara Hasqiil dan keluarga, lima konflik perkelahian antara Hasqiil dengan orang lain, tiga konflik kecurangan, dua konflik pemerkosaan, dua konflik peperangan, satu konflik pembunuhan dan satu konflik penyerangan. Konflik tidak akan terjadi tanpa adanya sumber pemicu konflik. Sumber-sumber konflik sosial dalam novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun dibagi menjadi lima kelompok, yaitu prestasi masa lalu, persepsi mengenai perbedaan kepentingan, aturan dan norma, perbandingan dengan orang lain dan terbentuknya kelompok pejuang. Akan tetapi, dalam novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun hanya ditemukan tiga dari kelima kelompok penyebab konflik tersebut yaitu persepsi mengenai kekuasaan, aturan dan norma dan terbentuknya kelompok pejuang. Selain dari ketiga sumber konflik tersebut, terdapat beberapa konflik yang bersumber atau disebabkan oleh sifat dan perilaku Hasqiil. Berdasarkan ketiga sumber konflik tersebut, terdapat lima konflik yang bersumber atau disebabkan oleh persepsi mengenai kekuasaan, lima konflik disebabkan oleh aturan dan norma, dua konflik disebabkan oleh terbentuknya kelompok pejuang dan tujuh konflik disebabkan oleh sifat dan tabiat buruk Hasqiil. Penelitian ini juga membahas tentang akibat konflik dan strategi dalam penyelesaian konflik. Akibat konflik dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu perubahan psikologis, perubahan kelompok dan kolektif lainnya serta perubahan masyarakat sekeliling yang berkonflik. Terdapat tujuh konflik yang mengakibatkan perubahan psikologis, satu konflik yang mengakibatkan perubahan kelompok dan kolektif lainnya dan empat konflik yang mengakibatkan perubahan masyarakat sekeliling yang berkonflik. Strategi dalam penyelesaian konflik dibagi menjadi lima kelompok yaitu contending (menghadapi masalah), yielding (mengalah), problem solving (pemecahan masalah), withdrawing (menarik diri) dan inaction (diam).

This study discusses the social conflicts of a novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun By Shaddaam Husain. The theory used in this research is Dean G. Pruitt and Jeffrey Z. Rubin's social conflict theory with a sociological approach to literature. The results of the study are followed. Social conflict in the main character at a novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun is divided into six groups those are strife, fraud, rape, war, murder and assault. Strife conflict is divided into two parts those are strifes between Hasqiil with his family and strifes between Hasqiil with non-family or other people. In this study found four strifes conflicts between Hasqiil and his family, five strifes conflicts between Hasqiil with non-family or other people, three fraud conflicts, two rape conflicts, two war conflicts, one murder conflict and one assault conflict. The conflict will not occur without a source of conflict trigger. The sources of social conflict in the novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun are divided into five groups those are past achievements, perceptions of differences in interests, rules and norms, comparisons with others and the formation of warrior groups. However, in the novel Ukhruj Minhaa Yaa Mal'uun only found three of the five groups causing the conflict, those are the perception of power, rules and norms and the formation of a group of the warrior. Apart from the three sources of conflict, several conflicts originate or caused by a bad character and bad behaviour of Hasqiil. From the three sources of conflict, there are five conflicts that originate or caused by perceptions of power, five conflicts are caused by rules and norms, two conflicts are caused by the formation of groups of warriors and seven conflicts are caused by a bad character and bad behaviour of Hasqiil. This study also discusses the effects of conflict and strategies for resolving conflicts. As a result of the conflict itself will be divided into three groups, those are psychological changes, changes in groups and other collective and changes in the surrounding community in conflict. There are seven conflicts that result in psychological changes, one conflict that results in a group and other collective changes, and four conflicts that result in changes in the surrounding community in conflict. Strategies in conflict resolution are divided into five groups those are contending (facing problems), yielding (succumbing), problem-solving, withdrawing and inaction (silent).
