Analisis Soundscape pada Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik UGM Berbasis Web-Survey

Perpustakaan kampus sebagai tempat yang memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pendidikan, memiliki kebutuhan akan kenyamanan lingkungan belajar yang unik dari berbagai jenis-jenis ruang huni yang lain, termasuk kenyamanan akustik. Tingkat kebisingan menjadi atribut ruang paling penting dalam kualitas ruang perpustakaan. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji kondisi kebisingan dan pola aktivitas dari kebiasaan pengunjung pada perpustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Soundscape. Parameter yang dipaparkan berupa noise mapping untuk memprediksi kesan individu terhadap lingkungan soniknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lingkungan sonik menggunakan pemetaan persepsi dan afeksi pengunjung serta pemetaan kebisingan dan mengetahui hubungan antara sifat akustik dengan perilaku penghuni. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penilaian subjektif berbasis web-survey dan pengambilan data objektif profil lingkungan sonik. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa keterbatasan data objektif karena saat pengambilan data dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19. Dari penelitian ini, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat dua jenis sumber bunyi yang memiliki frekuensi dominan dan dianggap mengganggu oleh responden, yaitu bunyi dari aktivitas manusia (percakapan, langkah kaki, teriakan) dan bunyi dari benda (dorong-tarik kursi, benda jatuh, mengetik, mesin fotocopy). Tingkat tekanan bunyi di lingkungan perpustakaan dengan kondisi bising pada saat itu di mana sumber bising 30% dari kondisi sebenarnya menunjukkan tingkat tekanan bunyi 44,9 dB hingga 46,9 dB.

The campus library as a place that has an important role in the educational process, it needs the comfort of a unique learning environment from various other types of living spaces, including acoustic comfort. The noise level is the most important attribute due to the quality of the library space. This study will review the noise conditions and activity patterns of visitor habits in the library using soundscape approach. The parameters presented in the form of noise mapping to predict individual impressions of the sonic environment. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the sonic environment using mapping of perception and affection of visitors as well as noise mapping and determine the relationship between the acoustics properties with behavior occupants. The study was conducted through a subjective assessment based on web-survey and objective data collection in the form of measurement of sonic environmental profile. This study has several limitations on objective data because of the data collection in the Covid-19 pandemic conditions. From this study, the results showed that there are two types of sound sources that have a dominant frequency and are disturb the comfort of respondents, namely the sound human activities (conversation, footsteps, screaming) and the sound object (push-pull chairs, falling object, typing laptop, machine photocopy). The sound pressure level in the library environment with noise condition at that time, where the source of noise 30% of the actual conditions, is in the range of 44,9 dB - 46,9 dB.
