HISTORIOGRAFI DALAM NOVEL L’ORDRE DU JOUR KARYA ÉRIC VUILLARD: ANALISIS METAFIKSI LINDA HUTCHEON

Skripsi ini membahas mengenai aspek-aspek metafiksi historiografis dalam novel l’Ordre du Jour (2017) karya Éric Vuillard. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan representasi sejarah dalam novel dan perbandingannya dengan fakta sejarah yang terdapat dalam teks-teks historiografis berdasarkan teori metafiksi historiografis oleh Linda Hutcheon. Sejarah yang ditampilkan dalam novel l’Ordre du Jour (2017) merupakan hasil pengolahan fakta sejarah teks-teks historiografis menjadi teks fiksi melalui penggunaan parodi. Proses tersebut dilakukan dengan menggambarkan sejarah dengan narasi bersifat satir, ironis, dan self-reflektif. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk mempertanyakan kembali pengetahuan sejarah yang telah menjadi konklusif atau telah dianggap mapan. Hasil dari perbandingan fakta sejarah dengan sejarah dalam novel menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa sejarah dalam novel telah diubah bentuk dan sifatnya dari narasi sejarah menjadi narasi fiksi melalui penambahan detail-detail yang lebih menggambarkan peristiwa dibandingkan realitasnya.

This undergraduate thesis explains the historiographic metafictional aspects presented in the novel L’Ordre du Jour by Éric Vuillard. The aim of this research is to present how History is represented in the novel and its comparison with the Historcal facts in historiographics texts based on the theory of historiographic metafiction by Linda Hutcheon. Historical portrayal in the novel is a result of historical reworking based on historiographic text through parody. This process is done by portraying History in satirical, ironic, and self-refective narration. The purpose of those processes is to challenge historical knowledge by representing the past into the text of the present preventing it to be conclusive. The comparison between histories in the novel with historical facts shows that History has been fictionalized so it shows more details than it should be.
