Unsur-Unsur Instrinsik Cerpen al-Mudil dalam Antologi Cerpen al-Mudil Karya Said Arafah: Analisis Struktural

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan unsur-unsur intrinsik yang membangun cerpen al-Mudil dalam antologi cepen al-Mudil kaya Said Arafah dan keterkaitan antarunsur intrinsik yang ada di dalamnya dalam menghasilkan makna. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural dengan metode analisis struktural. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dianalisis adalah karakter, alur, latar, tema, judul, dan sudut pandang. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa tokoh utama pada cerpen ini adalah Hamdi. Tokoh tambahan dalam cerita ini adalah Ibu Hamdi, guru pendidikan seni, Ihsan, Yusri, Sayyid, Wafa dan teman-temannya, dan jaksa. Alur dalam cerita ini adalah alur maju atau progresif. Cerpen ini berlatarkan Mesir dan Prancis. Latar tempat di Mesir yaitu Kota Kairo, Desa Syalsyalmun, kampus, Apartemen Zamalek, dan pengadilan. Latar tempat Prancis yaitu Kota Paris. Latar waktu pada cerpen ini adalah pagi, siang, dan malam. Latar sosial pada cerpen ini adalah masyarakat yang mempunyai perbedaan kehidupan sosial ekonomi yang sangat mencolok antara golongan miskin dan golongan kaya. Tema dalam cerpen ini adalah daya juang dan dukungan orang terdekat membantu seseorang dalam meraih kesuksesan. Judul al-Mudil pada cerpen ini mengacu pada penokohan tokoh utama. Adapun sudut pandang yang digunakan pada cerpen ini adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga tak terbatas. Cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antarunsur yaitu tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, judul dengan tokoh, dan tokoh dengan latar. Masing-masing unsur dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan sehingga menghasilkan makna cerita yang utuh.

This study aims to reveal the intrinsic elements that build the short story "al-Mudil" in the anthology of al-Mudil short stories by Said Arafat and the interrelationships between intrinsic elements that are in it in producing meaning. The theory used in this research is structural theory with structural analysis methods. The intrinsic elements analyzed are character, plot, setting, theme, title, and point of view. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be seen that the main character in this short story is Hamdi. Additional figures in this story are Mrs. Hamdi, art education teacher, Ihsan, Yusri, Sayyid, Wafa and her friends, and the prosecutor. The plot in this story is a progressive or progressive plot. This story is set in Egypt and France. The setting in Egypt is Cairo City, Syalsyalmun Village, campus, Zamalek Apartment, and court. The setting in France is Paris. The time setting in this short story is morning, afternoon, and night as the logic of the story. The social setting in this short story is society that has a very striking difference in socioeconomic life between the poor and the rich. The theme in this short story is the power and support of the people closest to help someone in achieving success. The title "al-Mudil" in this short story refers to the characterization of the main character. The point of view used in this short story is the point of view of an unlimited third person. This short story has a link between elements of theme with characters, themes with plot, titles with characters, and characters with background. Each element in this short story has a connection so as to produce the full meaning of the story.
