MITOS SEMAR DALAM PERSPEKTIF METAFISIKA ANTON BAKKER

Penelitian ini mengkaji mitos Semar melalui sudut pandang metafisika. Mitos Semar telah berkembang sebagai kisah sakral yang sangat dipercaya, dan diinternalisasi menjadi pusat sistem pandangan hidup, tujuan hidup, dan cara hidup bagi sebagian masyarakat Jawa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan asumsi-asumsi metafisik dalam mitos Semar. Dimensi metafisika dalam mitos Semar, dapat menjadi dasar dalam memahami asumsi-asumsi metafisik yang mendasari pemikiran filsafat Jawa, dan sekaligus memberikan gambaran umum berkaitan pandangan masyarakat Jawa mengenai hakikat realitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian kepustakaan. Objek material penelitian adalah mitos Semar. Objek formal penelitian ini adalah pemikiran utama Anton Bakker tentang metafisika pengada. Penelitian ini adalah studi literatur yang mengikuti beberapa tahap: inventarisasi, klasifikasi, analisis, persiapan hasil, dan diproses menggunakan dua metode utama yakni metode Hermeneutik dan metode Heuristik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan mitos Semar sudah ada sejak abad ke-8 dan tetap eksis hingga sekarang. Dalam mitos Semar juga ditemukan aspek-aspek metafisika yang meliputi aspek kuantitas realitas dimana prinsip pertama dalam mitos Semar ini memilik corak monistis, dan sifat-sifat realitas yang memiliki ciri homogal dan bersifat transendental, kemudian dinamika realitas dalam mitos Semar dipahami sebagai sebuah proses menuju kepada Tuhan, dan untuk kualitas realitas bersifat spiritual, arti dan nilai mitos Semar dipahami sebagai simbol yang memiliki peranan penting bagi sebagian masyarakat Jawa dalam menjalani laku hidupnya, dalam mitos Semar juga ditemukan aspek harmoni sebagai norma ontologis transendental.

This study examines the myth of Semar through a metaphysical perspective. The Semar myth has evolved as a sacred story that is very trusted, and internalized into the center of the system of life views, life goals, and ways of life for some Javanese people. The purpose of this study is to explain the metaphysical assumptions in the myth of Semar. The metaphysical dimension in the Semar myth, can be the basis for understanding the metaphysical assumptions underlying Javanese philosophical thought, and at the same time giving a general picture of Javanese society's view of the nature of reality. This study uses a library research model. The research material object is the Semar myth. The formal object of this research is Anton Bakker's main thoughts on the metaphysics of being present. This study is a literature study which follows several stages: inventory, classification, analysis, preparation of results, and processed using two main methods namely the Hermeneutic method and the Heuristic method. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Semar myth has existed since the 8th century and still exists today. In the Semar myth also found aspects of metaphysics which include the quantity aspect of reality where the first principle in the Semar myth has a monistic pattern, and the characteristics of reality that have homogical and transcendental characteristics, then the dynamics of reality in myth Semar are understood as a process leading to God, and for the quality of reality is spiritual, the meaning and value of myth Semar is understood as a symbol that has an important role for some Javanese people in living their behavior, in the myth Semar also found the aspect of harmony as a transcendental ontological norm
