Tindakan Fanatisme Penggemar OTP (Studi Kasus pada Komunitas Komiket Comifuro Jakarta)

Penelitian ini mengkaji tindakan fanatisme penggemar OTP (One True Pairing) di komunitas komiket Comifuro Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motif tindakan fanatisme OTP serta tipe tindakan fanatisme para informan ditinjau melalui teori tindakan sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Verstehen, yaitu metode dengan cara memahami dan berempati pada informan melalui observasi partisipatoris dan wawancara. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori tindakan sosial Weber dan konsep kebtuhuan penggemar Enomoto. Teori tindakan sosial digunakan untuk menganalisis arti dari tindakan informan sedangkan konsep kebutuhan Enomoto digunakan untuk memahami motif informan melakukan tindakan tersebut. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah pertama, motif tindakan fanatisme OTP para informan meliputi motif konsumsi, koleksi, simpati, otonomi diri, rasa memiliki, pengungkapan diri, berkelompok, dan produksi. Kedua, pada tindakan fanatisme OTP terdapat tiga tipe tindakan sosial yaitu tindakan afektif, tindakan rasional instrumen dan tindakan rasional berorientasi nilai. Tindakan afektif mereka berupa kepemilikan ikatan emosional pada OTP dan teman sekelompok. Tindakan rasional instrumen mereka ditunjukkan oleh tindakan fanatisme OTP yang didasari pada kapasitas SDM maupun aspek finansial. Selanjutnya, tindakan rasional berorientasi nilai mereka ditunjukkan oleh tindakan informan yang menjaga hubungan dengan sesama anggota kelompok penggemar OTP, serta keluarga mereka dengan pertimbangan nilai sosial, agama, dan moral.

This research examines the actions of OTP fanaticism (One True Pairing) in the Comifuro Jakarta comiket community. The research purpose is to find out the motives of OTP fanaticism action and the type of fanaticism action performed by informants, reviewed through social action theory. The research method applied in this research is the Verstehen method, which is a method of understanding and empathizing with informants through participatory observation and interviews. The theory used is the Weber social action theory and the concept of Enomoto's fans needs. Social action theory is used to analyze the meaning of the actions of informants while the concept of the needs of Enomoto is used to understand the motives of their fanaticism actions. The conclusions obtained from this research is first, the motives of the informant OTP fanaticism include motives for consumption, collection, sympathy, self-autonomy, sense of belonging, self-disclosure, grouping, and production. Second, in the OTP fanaticism, there are three types of social actions, namely affective action, instrument rational action, and value-oriented rational actions. Their affective action includes emotional links to the OTP and group friends. The rational instrument actions are displayed with fanaticism actions based on human resource capacity and financial aspects. Furthermore, their value-oriented rational actions are shown by the actions of informants who maintain relations with fellow members of the OTP fan group, as well as their families with consideration of social, religious and moral values.
