PERAN TANGGUNG JAWAB TERHADAP EMOSI PENYESALAN DAN KEKECEWAAN

Peran tanggung jawab terhadap emosi penyesalan dan kekecewaan kerap menjadi perdebatan. Penelitian tersebut jugas sudah pernah dilakukan di Amerika, Belanda, dan Italia. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan beberapa hasil yang berbeda dari peran tanggung jawab terhadap emosi penyesalan dan kekecewaan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi peran tanggung jawab melalui decision agent (computer assignment dan student choice) terhadap perbedaan tingkat emosi penyesalan dan kekecewaan. Selanjutnya bertujuan untuk membandingkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Terry Connolly dan Lisa D. Ordo, (1997), Marcel Zeelenberg, Wilco W. van Dijk Free, dan Antony S. R. Manstead (1998), Cinzia Giorgetta, Marcel Zeelenberg, Fabio Ferlazzo, dan Francesca D’Olimpio (2012). Subjek diambil secara acak dengan design penelitian mix design. Pada penelitian memiliki desain 2 (decision agent: computer assignment [atribusi eksternal] vs student choice [atribusi internal]) × 3 (kondisi awal: lebih baik vs sama vs lebih buruk). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 74 mahasiswa program sarjana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika tidak ada perbedaan, tanggung jawab tidak berperan dalam tingkat, penyesalan dan kekecewaan. Emosi penyesalan dan kekecewaan memiliki kesamaan, yaitu perasaan tersebut dialami lebih tinggi jika kondisi awalnya lebih baik.

The role of responsibility for emotions of regret and disappointment is often debated. The research was carried out in America, the Netherlands and Italy. The results of the research that has been carried out show several different results from the role of responsibility for emotions of regret and disappointment. The purpose of the research is to explore the role of responsibility through the decision agent (computer assignment and student choice) towards the different levels of emotional regret and disappointment in Indonesia. Furthermore, it aims to compare the research conducted by Terry Connolly and Lisa D. Ordo, (1997), Marcel Zeelenberg, Wilco W. van Dijk Free, and Antony SR Manstead (1998), Cinzia Giorgetta, Marcel Zeelenberg, Fabio Ferlazzo and Francesca D'Olimpio (2012). Subjects were taken randomly with a mix design research design. The research has design 2 (decision agent: computer assignment [external attribution] vs. student choice [internal attribution]) × 3 (initial condition: better vs. equal vs. worse). The research subjects were 74 post-graduate program students in Indonesia. The results of the study show that if there is no difference Responsibility does not play a role in level, regret and disappointment. The emotion of regret and disappointment has something in common, namely the feeling experienced by a higher in a better initial condition.
