ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB DEFECT PRODUCT PELUMAS DI PT. PERTAMINA LUBRICANTS

PT. Pertamina Lubricants merupakan anak perusahaan PT. Pertamina (Persero) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan bisnis Perseroan di bidang usaha pelumas pada masa mendatang melalui cakupan bisnis di dalam dan di luar negeri dengan memproduksi, mendistribusikan dan memasarkan produk pelumas, gemuk (grease), produk khusus (specialities product) dan produk berbasis minyak (base oil products). Periode penelitian dilakukan per hari pada bulan Januari 2018, dengan objek penelitian produk Mesran Super ukuran 1 liter. Proses produksi pelumas sangat mempengaruhi kualitas dari produk yang akan dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat persentase rata-rata defect product Mesran Super ukuran 1 liter bulan Januari 2018 sebesar 0,3% lebih besar dibandingkan standar yang ditetapkan oleh PT. Pertamina Lubricants untuk internal defect sebesar 0,19%. Jenis defect yang paling dominan adalah Defect Botol (DB) dan Setting Mesin (SM) pada proses labeling. Untuk mengetahui penyebab cacat tersebut, maka dilakukan serangkaian analisis dengan menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu statistical process control (SPC) dengan cara mengamati berapa jumlah produk cacat per hari pada bulan Januari 2018 selama proses produksi berlangsung, peta kendali p (control chart p) untuk memetakan apakah dari masing-masing jenis produk cacat berada di dalam kategori terkendali atau tidak terkendali dengan menggunakan batas kendali atas (UCL) dan batas kendali bawah (LCL), menggunakan diagram fishbone untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab yang memiliki potensi penyimpangan kualitas produk pelumas selama proses produksi berlangsung.

PT. Pertamina Lubricants is a subsidiary of PT. Pertamina (Persero) which aims to increase the Company's business strength in the field of lubricant business in the future through the scope of business in home country and abroad by producing, distributing and marketing lubricants, grease, specialties products and products based oil. Period of research conducted per day in January 2018, with the object of research product Mesran Super size 1 liter. The process of lubricant production greatly affects the quality of the product to be produced. The results of this study is the average percentage rate of defect product Mesran Super 1 liter in January 2018 of 0,3% larger than the standard set by PT. Pertamina Lubricants for internal defect of 0,19%. The most dominant types of defects are Defect Bottle (DB) and Machine Setting (SM) on labeling process. To determine the cause of the defect, a series of analyzes using several statistical process control (SPC) methods were conducted by observing the number of defective products per day in January 2018 during the production process, control chart p to map whether of each defective product category are in controlled or uncontrolled categories using the upper control limits (UCL) and lower control limits (LCL), using a fishbone diagram to analyze the causative factors that have the potential deviation of the quality of the lubricant products during the production process.
