MUSIK DAN STRUKTUR DRAMATIK: ASPEK-ASPEK MUSIKAL DAN PERAN WORSHIP LEADER DALAM KEBAKTIAN 'PUJIAN DAN PENYEMBAHAN' GEREJA BETHEL INDONESIA KELUARGA ALLAH SURAKARTA

Disertasi ini mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji: 1)Fungsi dan makna penting penyajian musik dalam Kebaktian "Pujian dan Penyembahan" dalam GBIKA. 2) Hubungan struktur musikal dan struktur dramatik ritual dalam Kebaktian "Pujian dan Penyembahan" GBIKA. 3)Bentuk praktik interaksi dan negosiasi musikal Worship Leader, serta konteks yang dipertimbangkan dalam proses membangun suasana Kebaktian Pujian Penyembahan yang diharapkan sebagai proses resepsi. Wilayah kajiannya tidak hanya pada aspek tekstual musik namun juga aspek sosial, kultural dan teologis. Sifat penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis yaitu mendeskripsikan suatu fenomena musik dalam konteks pribadatan suatu komunitas Gereja Kharismatik. Penelitian ini menerapkan perspektif pergelaran (performance perspective). Pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma dan cara kerja etnomusikologi digunakan untuk mengkaji permasalahan aktivitas ritual keagamaan dan mengungkap peran aspek-aspek teknis-artistik dalam peribadatan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman ketubuhan. Berdasarkan penelitian dihasil dapat diyatakan bahwa aktivitas musikal dalam Kebaktian Pujian Penyembahan bagi jemaat GBIKA merupakan sarana dan cara yang efektif dalam menciptakan suasana dan mendorong partisipasi jemaat untuk memperoleh pengalaman ketubuhan sebagai bentuk manifestasi pengalaman spiritual. Musik pop rohani disistematisasikan dan disajikan dalam alur struktur dramatik yang dinamis melalui proses perancangan strategis dengan melibatkan berbagai unsur dan komponen yang kompleks secara sinergis menjadi media musik ibadah. Tiga aspek penting sebagai bahan pertimbangan Worship Leader dalam menyusun rancangan implementasi musikal dalam proses kebaktian Pujian Penyembahan yaitu aspek musikal, aspek liturgis dan aspek pastoral. Aspek musikal adalah unsur-unsur musik dan lagu yang secara teknis, estetis dan bentuk ekspresinya dapat memberikan efek atau pengaruh dan dukungan suasana tertentu dalam proses ibadah. Pertimbangan aspek liturgis didasarkan pada dua bagian yaitu tuntutan struktural dan tekstual. Secara pastoral, implementasi musik juga mempertimbangkan aspek kultural dan sosial jemaat. Aspek-aspek musikal, liturgis, dan pastoral merupakan kesatuan bentuk evaluasi. Ketiganya merupakan titik tolak untuk memberikan evaluasi terhadap implementasi musik dalam konteks ibadah.

This dissertation describes and examines: 1) The important functions and significance of music presentation in "Praise and Worship" service in GBIKA. 2) The relationship of musical structures and dramatic ritual structures in GBIKA's "Praise and Worship" Prayer. 3) The form of Worship Leader's interaction and musical negotiation practices, as well as the contexts considered in the process of building the worship service worship atmosphere as a reception process. The area of study is not only on the textual aspects of music but also the social, cultural and theological aspects. The nature of this research is an analytical descriptive that describes a musical phenomenon in the context of a community of Charismatic Church. This study applies the perspective performances (performance perspective). A qualitative approach to the paradigm and fieldwork of ethnomusicology is used to examine the issues of religious ritual activity and reveal the role of the artistic-technical aspects of worship in order to gain experience in the bodied. Based on the research, it can be stated that musical activity in Parise and Worship service for GBIKA congregation is an effective means and means to create atmosphere and encourage congregational participation to gain experience of body as a form of manifestation of spiritual experience. Spiritual pop music is systematized and presented in a dynamic dramatic flow structure through a strategic design process involving complex elements and components synergistically becoming a musical instrument of worship. Three important aspects of Worship Leader consideration in compiling the musical implementation design in the worship process of Praise and Worship are musical aspect, liturgical aspect and pastoral aspect. The musical aspect is the elements of music and songs that are technically, aesthetically and in the form of expression can give effect or influence and support certain atmosphere in the process of worship. The liturgical aspect is based on two parts: structural and textual demands. Pastorally, the implementation of music also considers the cultural and social aspects of the congregation. The musical, liturgical, and pastoral aspects are unified forms of evaluation. They are the starting points for evaluating the implementation of music in the context of worship.
