NOVEL LELAKI HARIMAU KARYA EKA KURNIAWAN: ANALISIS ALUR MENURUT ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan ketidakberaturan peristiwa, ketidakberuntunan tahapan alur, serta kesatuan antarunsur alur (unity) dalam Lelaki Harimau menggunakan pendekatan alur menurut Robert Stanton. Selain itu, tujuan praktis dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman pembaca terhadap novel Lelaki Harimau melalui analisis alur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan mendeskripsikan fakta dan data dalam teks kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis untuk memberikan pemahaman dan penjelasan permasalahan alur yang terdapat dalam novel Lelaki Harimau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alur dalam Lelaki Harimau memiliki cerita dalam cerita. Alur episodis yang tidak beraturan tersebut menyebabkan adanya pemunculan penyelesaian di awal cerita dengan klimaks yang ditunda sampai bab akhir. Tahapan alur yang tidak beruntun memiliki peristiwa masa kini berkaitan dengan peristiwa masa lampau. Keseluruhan unsur tersebut memiliki keutuhan kesatuan yang saling mendukung.

This study aims to describe the irregularity of event, non chronological stage of plot, also the unity between the plot elements of Lelaki Harimau using the plot approach according to Robert Stanton. In addition, the practical purpose of this study is to improve the reader's understanding of the novel Lelaki harimau through the plot analysis. The method that used is descriptive method of analysis by describing facts and data in the text and then continued with the analysis to provide explanation of the plot problems which contained in Lelaki Harimau novel. The result of this study shows that the plot of Lelaki Harimau has a story in the story itself. the non chronological plot causes the ending of the settlement appears in the beginning of the story with a delayed climax until the end of the chapter. the non cronological stage of plot also has current event related to past event. in the end, the whole element has a unity which support each others.
