Rendahnya penggunaan teknologi menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat berkembangnya UMKM. Untuk itu, cloud computing hadir sebagai hasil perkembangan dari teknologi informasi yang menawarkan banyak manfaat bagi UMKM seperti penyimpanan data dan memperlancar proses bisnis. Pengadopsian cloud computing di UMKM perlu dilakukan secara sistematis agar efektif dan efisien. Oleh sebab itu, Shimba (2010) menawarkan sebuah model pengadopsian cloud yakni Roadmap for Cloud Computing Adoption (ROCCA) sebagai model yang generik. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan proses penerapan cloud computing yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan model ROCCA pada lima UMKM industri kerajinan pahat batu. Hasil riset ini diharapkan agar UMKM lebih memahami proses adopsi cloud computing dan untuk memperbaiki proses penerapan cloud yang sudah dilakukan. Dengan demikian, riset ini diharapkan akan menghasilkan rekomendasi yang tepat dan sistematis sehingga memudahkan UMKM industri kerajinan pahat batu dalam berinovasi. Riset ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semiterstruktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa proses adopsi yang dilakukan oleh lima UMKM masih sederhana, dilakukan secara langsung, dan belum ada rencana yang disusun secara sistematis. Ditemukan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penggunaan cloud seperti kemudahan dalam penggunaan, biaya yang rendah, dan tekanan kompetitif. Riset ini menggunakan model ROCCA untuk mengembangkan proses adopsi yang telah dilakukan sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi. Rekomendasi tersebut terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analisis, perencanaan, adopsi, migrasi dan manajemen.

The low technology employment is one of the factors inhibiting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Therefore, cloud computing comes as a result of the development of information technology which offers such many benefits for MSMEs as data storage and streamline business processes. The adoption of cloud computing in MSMEs needs to be carried out systematically to make it effective and efficient. In this respect, Shimba (2010) offers a model for the adoption of cloud, that is Roadmap for Cloud Computing Adoption (ROCCA) as a generic model. This research is to develop a process to implement cloud computing using the ROCCA model which has been carried out in five MSMEs of stone carving industries. The result of this research are intended to make the MSMEs better understand the process of adopting cloud computing and to improve the process of cloud implementation in the MSMEs. This research provides appropriate and systematic recommendations that can help the MSMEs of stone carving industries make innovations. This research was qualitative wiht a case study approach. The data were collected using semi-structured interviews and documents. The result indicate that the adoption process by the five MSMEs was still simple, it was carried out directly, and no plan was systematically arranged. There were some factors that influence the use of cloud such as ease to use, low cost, and competitive pressures. This research applied the ROCCA model to develop the adoption process that has been carried out so that is comes up with recommendations are composed of five stages, namely analysis, planning, adoption, migration, and management.
