NOVEL YAKUZA NA TSUKI KARYA SHOKO TENDO: ANALISIS STRUKTURALISME GENETIK

Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Yakuza Na Tsuki karya Shoko Tendo. Novel ini menceritakan tentang kehidupan tokoh Shoko Tendo, anak seorang pemimpin yakuza yang melalui berbagai peristiwa yang berat dalam hidupnya dan mencoba bangkit dari kehidupan lamanya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah selain penulis ingin mengetahui kehidupan yakuza dari sudut pandang anak pemimpin yakuza itu sendiri, penulis juga ingin pandangan dunia pengarang yang terekspresi dalam Yakuza Na Tsuki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur teks novel dan pandangan dunia pengarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori strukturalisme genetik yang dikembangkan oleh Lucien Goldmann. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode dialektik. Metode ini bekerja dengan pemahaman bolak-balik antara pandangan dunia, struktur teks, struktur sosial, dan teks karya sastra sebagai titik awal dan akhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, struktur tematik novel Yakuza Na Tsuki terdiri dari relasi-relasi yang terjadi dalam perjalanan tokoh hero menemukan nilai otentik. Relasi tersebut terjalin antara tokoh hero dengan tokoh lain serta dunia sekitarnya. Kedua, pandangan dunia yang ingin disampaikan dalam novel tersebut adalah humanisme liberal. Selain itu, berdasarkan kajian latar belakang sosial, novel Yakuza Na Tsuki bukan hanya merupakan karya imajinatif pengarang semata, tetapi juga merupakan refleksi dari kehidupan sosial masyarakat.

This research analyzes a novel entitled Yakuza Na Tsuki created by Shoko Tendo as material object. The novel tells about Shoko Tendo who is the daughter of yakuza boss. She passed many hard experiences in her life and tried to rise up from her past. The background of this research is to know the yakuza's life from the point of view of the main character. Besides, the writer wants to know the author's world view which is expressed through Yakuza Na Tsuki novel. This research is aimed to understand the structure of the text of the novel and author's world view. This research uses genetic structuralism theory developed by Lucien Goldmann. The writer used the dialectical method as the method of this research. This method works by understanding back and forth between the world view, the structure of the text, and the social structure, and puts the text of literary works as a starting and ending point. The result of this research shows that, first, the thematic structure of Yakuza Na Tsuki novel consists of the relations that happen in her journey to find the authenthic values. The relations are between the hero with another character and the surrounding world. Second, the world view that wants to be presented by author is liberal humanism. Besides, according to the social background, Yakuza Na Tsuki novel is not only imaginative works of the author herself, but the novel is also a reflection of society.
