PERAN DALANG MUDA DALAM PELESTARIAN SENI PENTAS WAYANG KULIT GAGRAG BANYUMASAN DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP KETAHANAN BUDAYA DAERAH (Studi di Kabupaten Banyumas, Propinsi Jawa Tengah)

2015 | Tesis | S2 Ketahanan NasionalPeran dalang muda di Banyumas dalam pelestarian seni wayang kulit menjadi sebuah fenomena unik untuk diteliti. Pedalangan dengan gaya Gagrag Banyumasan menjadi fokus ditengah sulitnya usaha pelestarian budaya pada pemuda dalam konteks membangun ketahanan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dalang muda di Banyumas dalam pelestarian seni wayang kulit Gagrag Banyumasan, dan mengkaji implikasi dari peran dalang muda dalam pelestarian seni pentas wayang kulit Gagrag Banyumasan terhadap ketahanan budaya daerah di Banyumas. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data : (1) Observasi lapangan. (2) Wawancara mendalam kepada dalang muda dan budayawan Banyumas (3) Data sekunder yang didapat melalui dokumen-dokumen dan. (4) Analisis data maupun temuan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan : (1) Peran dalang muda dalam Pelestarian Seni Pentas Wayang Kulit Gagrag Banyumasan terdapat tiga peran. Pertama, peran para dalang muda sebagai pewaris seni budaya Pedalangan. Kedua, peran dalang muda sebagai aktor (pelaku) yang menggeluti dunia seni pentas wayang kulit/pedalangan Gagrag Banyumasan. Ketiga, peran dalang muda sebagai pelestari seni pentas wayang kulit/pedalangan Gagrag Banyumasan. Dalam usaha pelestarian seni pentas wayang kulit Gagrag Banyumasan oleh para dalang muda di Banyumas, terdapat beberapa hambatan yang ditemukan; Pertama, Hambatan dari pesatnya perkembangan jaman melahirkan kesenian-kesenian instan dan arus budaya asing. Kedua, hambatan akibat lemahnya political will atau komiten politik dari pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Banyumas dan ketiga, hambatan pada keterbatasan dari kompetensi para dalang muda sendiri. (2) Implikasi pada ketahanan budaya di Banyumas; Pertama, penegasan kembali identitas masyarakat Banyumas. Kedua, terbangunnya percaya diri generasi muda akan budayanya. Ketiga, pengenalan karakter manusia dan filosofi orang Banyumas dibalik pentas wayang kulit Gagrag Banyumasan.
The phenomenon of the emergence from the young Puppetteers in Banyumas in art shadow puppet conservation are unique phenomenon to be further investigated. Style shadow puppet with Gagrag Banyumasan is a focus of its own amid the difficulty of cultural preservation to the younger, especially in the context to raise the l cultural resilience. This study aimed to examine determine the role of young puppeteer in Gagrag Banyumasan shadow puppet art preservation in Banyumas, and the implications from preservation in Gagrag Banyumasan shadow puppet art show to the cultural resilience in Banyumas. This Research is a conducted by the authors in the type of qualitative descriptive research. By used the following steps: (1) Field observations. (2) In-depth interviews to young puppeteer and Observer shadow puppet arts. (3) The collection of secondary data and documents. (4) Analysis of the data and discovery in the field. The results of study is a: (1) The role of youth in the preservation Performing Arts Puppet Gagrag Banyumasan, inside there are three roles. First, the role of the young puppeteer as testator from the art of puppetry culture. Second, the role of young puppeteer as actors who carry on the art of shadow puppet Gagrag Banyumasan perfomning art / puppetry. Third, the role of the young puppeteer art conservationist shadow puppet / puppetry Gagrag Banyumasan performing art. In preservation efforts of performing arts shadow puppets Gagrag Banyumasan by young puppeteers in Banyumas. There are some obstacles that are found, First, barriers of era in a rapid development where gave birth of the instant arts and foreign cultures influenced. Second, constraints due to lack of political will or comitmen of local government in Banyumas. And Third, barriers to the competence limitations of the young puppeteers themselves. (2) The Implications on the cultural resilience in Banyumas. First, is a reaffirmation to the identity of Banyumas people. Second, the confident establishment of young generation to his culture. And Third, the introduction of the human character and philosophy from Banyumas people behind the Gagrag Banyumasan shadow puppet performing arts.
