Analisis Resepsi Pembaca Manhwa "Love is an Illusion" terhadap Pemaknaan atas Homoseksualitas

Manhwa sebagai salah satu media hiburan yang populer saat ini menjadi banyak digandrungi oleh kaum muda. Salah satu genre yang cukup populer di kalangan anak muda terutama kaum hawa adalah Boys Love. Genre BL memiliki banyak sekali konsep lain salah satunya Omegaverse. Genre omegaverse menggabungkan beberapa konsep seperti homoseksualitas, heteronormativitas, dan alpha-omega ala serigala. Konsep yang unik tersebut menghasilkan berbagai pemaknaan yang berbeda beda dari setiap informan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana seorang audiens dari manhwa BL omegaverse Love is an Illusion meresepsikan adegan demi adegan dari manhwa tersebut. Peneliti juga ingin melihat apakah para informan juga aktif dalam melakukan produksi parateks sesuai dengan pemaknaan dari diri mereka masing-masing. Penelitian kepada empat informan penikmat manhwa BL omegaverse Love is an Illusion telah menghasilkan temuan bahwa tidak semua informan yang membaca manhwa tersebut menyukai konsep omegaverse yang ada dan menjadi pendukung kaum homoseksual. Penyesuaian nilai tetap terjadi pada setiap informan dan juga tidak adanya signifikansi dari Love is an Illusion dalam mengubah persepsi para informan.

Manhwa as one of the popular entertainment media has become much loved by young people. One genre that is quite popular among young people, especially women, is Boys Love. The BL genre has many other concepts, one of which is Omegaverse. The omegaverse genre combines concepts such as homosexuality, heteronormativity, and wolf-style alpha-omega. This unique concept produces a variety of different meanings from each informant. In this study, the researcher wants to see how an audience of the BL omegaverse manhwa Love is an Illusion perceives scene by scene from the manhwa. The researcher also wanted to see if the informants were also active in producing paratexts according to their respective meanings. Research on four informants who enjoy the BL omegaverse Love is an Illusion manhwa has found that not all of the informants who read the manhwa like the existing omegaverse concept and support homosexuals. Value adjustments still occur for each informant and also the absence of significance from Love is an Illusion in changing the perceptions of the informants.
